Well, you're wrong. There are other ways, actually.

Talk of my grandmother (who died right after I was born) was all I had until I did a little digging.

I had a friend that worked at the socialist security office. I found my grandmothers maiden name and contacted the Cherokee Nation in North Carolina and was told there were people there that still remembered her.

So, I packed my bags and took a trip. The two photos they had were matches to the ones I had from my family.

So, the only reason for a DNA test for me was to establish HOW MUCH of my DNA came from my grandmother.

For the record, the United States is not “doing just fine” when it comes to mass murder. More people were killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting that happened two months ago than have been killed by Islamist terror in the United Kingdom since at least 2005.

More importantly, what's written on paper, or passed down through the family lore isn't always factual.

This is especially true when dealing with minorities. And DNA isn't a true gauge either. DNA tests can give us either our paternal line through the men, or maternal line through the women.

So a DNA test would show your father's father's father's father's father's father's father's father's etc etc father, or your mother's mother's mother's etc etc mother. This does not disprove a female relation on your father's side or a male relation on your mother's side. If possible , then DNA from your maternal grandfather and your paternal grandmother would bridge a bit of that gap.

In other words, there is damn near no possible way to discredit anyone's word for their racial identity.

And this is coming from the dumb bastard that started the birther movement. Somebody needs to pull the plug on his phone, microphones, and other communication outlets.

I personally think that if it's too far away to trace, then you can't call yourself that race.

Otherwise, they say all white people has African ancestry, then maybe all white people are black.

Oh man, wouldn't the blacks love to hear that!

Still doesn't change the fact that.

1) Elizabeth warren is tooo scared to do an DNA to find out the truth about herself, because she knew she lied about her native american roots to get whatever benefits at Harvard.

2) A genealogical society did a thorough investigation on her and found nothing. And they are suppose to be good at this stuffs.

(My only ignorance stem from I wouldn't know precisely what methods genealogical society uses to verify people's ancestry, just like I wouldn't know what methods a urologist would use to verify an illness of a patient as it's not my area of expertise. )

But I gotta trust that a urologist know what he is doing and saying. Same like a genealogical society.

Interbreeding with other hominid groups doesn't have much bearing on the currently accepted model of our race's genealogy and dispersion worldwide, and it's yet to be proven that the ghost species thing was a regional thing in any case. The argument is strangely similar to the long discredited notion that God's chosen white folk, the uppity niggers and the cunning slopes all descended from different apes entirely.
