hello,
anybody know about finishing schools to train a brat into a lady? i'd really appreciate the info if they do as have looked quite a while. (If they come with straps and canes- even more interest heheee)

If you are serious about someone learning basics of etiquette and not necessarily having it be bdsm life-style related, there is a wonderful set of CDs that teach things like: Poise, posture, table manners, basic etiquette, speech, style, etc. available at the website udefineu.com It is a set of CD's that cost a little over $100, if I remember correctly. I bought these for my niece, when she turned 16, because she wanted them. They offer some valauble instruction, and are geared toward females. udefiine.com You can also find the website if you google the words finishing school - it's near the top of the page, usually.

You may want to do some research into a Life Coach and see if you can find one who is willing to work on what you are looking for. I know of several Dom and Master in California who take on girls for this very reason.

Update: The set contains DVD's not CD's (I mis-spoke- guess I may need a refresher course, hehe)! It is $100, and well worth it. It is called "Finishing school ina box" - 4 DVD's and very good instruction. at: undefineu.com

i'm humble enough to recognize i lack almost all manner of ladylike mannerisms. I'm about as graceful as the proverbial bull in a china shop. It's one thing that i've suggested to my own Dom that we use as a sort of formal 'training' although as He's a Dom and not a Domme i don't know how much He would know about training a 'lady'. Very interesting subject.....i think i'll do some looking of my own for something closer to home (new york).

Dear LotusSong ... and all gentle readers....

Yes, you are correct... I suspect it's totally useless in everyday society!

Training women to be graceful, elegant, stylish,
well-mannered in their submission ... sexual and service-oriented,
is just totally outside of anything our American culture
would consider tolerable.

So, if you want to be lady-like in the vanilla world sense,
the Headmaster would be totally, 100% wrong.

PS, I only know The Headsmaster in his non-kinky life
as a very well-known writer, and trainer of writers.
I have only seen a few pictures of "the school-room"

LOL do such places exist... I didnt think beeing a brat could be changed isnt it part of who you are???
