Justa  quick response.
My boy is 21. He works his ass off when I tell him to. He sits and plays games or watches TV when I allow him to.  Being a slave doesnt mean working 24/7, it just means making sure yuo have your priorities straight and everythig that needs to be done is finished before you are going to even consider that leisure time.
Expecting a slave to work when they havent been instructed to do so is silly. Its human nature, if you dont have anything to do specifically, you dont want ot make up chores for yourself just to look busy. If my boy has assigned chores, I know they will be completed. However, once they are, i dont expect him to dig into the next days things to do just so he isnt sitting around.  The faster he gets them done for the day, the more time he gets to do what he enjoys.

when did being a slave begin to mean laziness...when master first allowed it

Here Here, I think this pretty much hits the nail on the head.

I have sooo been through this....a poly relationship once...got ugly when I stopped working...should have know from the way the place was when I started...anyhow thats another ball of wax....
Slaves are (in my own opinion) what their Masters make of them...if they are allowed to be lazy then thats the Masters bad.....if the Master doesnt care then why should the slave....and man what wasted potential.....
Thats just my 2cents

Now just hang on a moment before everyone gets carried away.  I said I was signing up for the lazy slave position i think spreading my legs would be far too much work for this lazy slave.

Trust me I use my mind and my degree,  it takes much work to sort out how to speak to the Masterly one in order to get my needs met.
"Oh great Master of mine, this slave would be eternally greatful if you would permit her to not clean/cook/serve tonight"

And all that while lounging on the couch eatting bon bons

<watching my mail pile up with the emails from prospective Dominants who want her>

A slave is "meant" to do what the owner wants them to.  Whether it's be a workhorse or a pretty toy, or - whatever else.  As long as both agree to the relationship...that's it.

Masters,

As a slave myself i feel that i need to ask.  From seeing it for myself and from talking to other slaves online since when did being a slave start meaning to sit on one's butt?

i've been in situations with Masters that i worked my butt off for Them while the other "slaves" sat around watching TV or playing on the computer.  Maybe i'm just too old fashioned but i was trained to believe that a slave is meant to work around the house to provide her/his Owner with a house that He/She can be proud to come home to.

Or maybe it's just all these 20 somethings that think being a "slave" is just a game...being 40 something i take being a slave very seriously.

Just  would like to know if any of You feel the way i do but from the Dominant side.

Thank You,

slvneedsowner

Lazy slaves are born from Lazy Masters.  If their kink works, who needs to worry further about it?
