that's not the point honey.  In a harem of the late say...1800's a wealthy enough man might have over 500 girls, He surely can't see to all of them.  Usually He would have His favorites, and His wives.  Then there were the girls who might have caught His attention once or twice, and then the ones that He's never seen. 

Frequently, they were given to the pasha's  and the pasha may not have even known it.  Ya never know... hehehehe
