She's already said she would, and my god I am tierd of hearing all of the gun ho meat eateres rape this board, why don't you go back the the plains and hunt food like a real man? Instead of pushing your valient shopping cart through the meat Isle. i am a Vegan and I'm healthier than i ever have been. Humans arn't designed to eat meat that's why vegitarians who actauly try are healthier.. anyone would die faster eating junk food and straight cards so don't blame that on Vegans. And if being a vegan was worse there would be people in Asia dropping over from malnutrition. It's your body to do with as you please, you are his mistress, but ease him into it.. cook him chili with boca meat.. take him out for a Veggie burger at burger king. Find a way to but fake meat in your recipes and he'll see the light!

Stick to Textured vegetable protien, then soy, then tofu... TVP tastes the best and is the easiest to add..

I always let my subs and slaves know that they aren't required to become a vege, but they would have to buy the meat and I do all the shopping and bill paying...

As I'm personaly allergic to meat i can voice that there is nothing wrong with me and I am perfectly healthy without a drop on meat passing my lips..

Add in: the fact that many Dommes here require tribute, and over the top house cleaning, not to meantion changing jobs and forced labor, but we draw the line at a diet?
btw... did you know that the most common athletic diet for the Olympics is Vegan?

How do you know I don't hunt?

I have to honest, I don't and that's because I dislike owning guns and am a miserable shot with bow and arrow. I won't kill what I can't kill without undue pain. But I do eat meat that has been hunted by others. Honestly, I'm sick of veggies and vegans going on bitchfits about a person who eats meat pointing out "hey if you don't do this right" you are going to mess up your body very badly. Very mature. Really makes me want to switch sides and listen to you.

SlaveAkasha -> RE: Forced Vegetarianism??? (12/18/2006 11:33:31 AM)

Let's face it, there are ways to be healthy eating both a veg/vegan diet or a meat eating one.  I don't eat meat, and I am heading back to vegan again.  I know that my body does better this way and it at the top performance wise.

I don't think that meat eaters are attacked anymore than veg eaters are.  We have to deal with our share of jokes, put-downs, and "concern" from meat eaters all the time.

I find for me, I live by example when I am living this way and it usually pays off without pushing it down anyones throat.  If I lose weight, people will ask me how.. if I look like I have a glow, they ask how.. etc.  They are naturally curious, so I give them any info I have and places to start.  It shows I won't be pushy and judge them, but I will help them any way I can.

I would love if the whole world were veg., but it's not likely to happen.

Just the same as I am tired of meat eaters telling me I won't be healthy, or it's unatural to live this way... I am sure meat eaters are tired of being told the way they live is bad for them also.  There are a million facts out there and with the internet easy to find... let us each find our way and leave the other alone.

You know... easier to attract with honey..than vinegar..[;)]

dear slave akasia know what i used to say when i saw a female slave;"what a waste" ...
on your vegan comments :
when in rome;
i lived on a cattle ranch; it would be non adaptive, to declare myself a "vagan "(setting myself up);same ,as, if you were with canibles ,etc;
when i was with strict-vegans, aka orthomolecular geniuses; litterally; they were very hard to work and live with ;VERY DIFFICULT NEUROTIC IN MY RELATIONSHIPS ,but, every conclusion can be "situation-dependent" ;IE: S/he's a "meat eater" ,or "cannible" ,or, just a harmless "vagan"  ; ya- rite;
DEPENDS WHERE YOU FIND THE PERSON ;
SURROUNDED BY CANNIBLES [sm=meh.gif]?
IN BED? [sm=ofcourse.gif]ALL THINGS CONSIDERED....
i think being felxible may be nice but, not always possible;like why smoke a ciggarette while you are  jogging ;[sm=hair.gif] living with a healthnut and  anorexic daily triple jogger?[sm=crop.gif](it's been done ,not without problems and was better ,to simply conform)
happy hollidays ;it's the week, b4 xmas!

SusanofO -> RE: Forced Vegetarianism??? (12/18/2006 12:10:16 PM)

james is right. It's the week before Christmas. Kiss and make up, why don't we? Hugs!! Hugs for everyone! (and a big kiss for james!) I am serious.

I think if someone wants to be a vegan, they should be one. If they want to eat meat, fine. Should someone force someone else to eat meat? Or be forced?

Hey - did they agree to be "dominated"? It might sound stupid, but I think it's negotiable. But if they agreed already, then yes, they should "go vegan" (I think being vegan in bed is kinda weird, but to each his/her own)..

Can a vegan sub swallow? I mean... it's an animal product.

AquaticSub!! That was tooo funny!! It's also a very good question.

I shouldn't partake in reviving this controversy, but that was so funny that it reminded me...

The Vegan in my dinner group uses some qualifying term for her "level of committedness" to Veganism that I forget just now, but - sometimes, she will eat dairy products (she can't pass on a good cheesecake, especially the time we went to the Cheescake Factory for dinner (he).

She will eat fish sometimes (there are so many of them, who's counting after all?), etc. And shrimp hardly count (they are so small, and also so numerous, who'll ever miss them anyway...do they even have a nervous system or feel pain ? She didn't even know this. The answer is yes, they do).

I then have (once) said to her that I only eat Prime Rib w/horseradish, but just not T-bones (but she didn't seem to get the joke).

SlaveAkasha -> RE: Forced Vegetarianism??? (12/18/2006 12:46:22 PM)

I would say Susan that she isn't a vegan.  There are different types of vegetarians, way too many in my opinion.  There are those that eat eggs, but not dairy, dairy but not eggs, fish but not other meat...etc.  Vegan is no meat, dairy, eggs, and they usually don't wear products made of animal by-products either.

And yes, we can still swallow... after all, my Master will not die if I consume his cum, though if he did, it would be with a smile on his face.[;)]

Anyone else watch "Coupling"? Because she's obviously bivegetarianism. Remember boys and girls, vegetarianism is about saying yes to things! Even meat.

Seriously, this attitude is (my two cents) where a lot of the friction somes between veggies, vegans and meat-eaters. And I blame it on lack of education. Someone needs to tell them that if you eat meat you are not a vegetarian. If you eat cheese, you not a vegan. Very sorry about that, but vegetarian means no meat, vegan means no dairy, you'll have to stop preaching as you no longer have any sort of moral high ground and please leave your soapbox at the door.

But cows do not die from being milked and hens do not die if we eat their eggs (from my understanding they lay them all the time anyway). Do I not understand veganism? It was explained to me as you can't eat anything that comes from an animal, regardless of it hurts the animal or not (debates on milking ethics aside - let's assume it's coming from a cow whose calf died for the moment).

Donnalee -> RE: Forced Vegetarianism??? (12/18/2006 12:54:59 PM)

I had a friend who was vegetarian and I didn't know it for a year and a half....we ate together all the time.  He had nothing to prove, and wasn't in the least concerned about what others ate.  I've always been impressed by that.

I live in an area where one of the religions (I call this one a cult) espouses vegetarianism as part of their demonstration of faith.  I can't tell you how many eyes roll in restraunts when you hear one announce,  "I"m a Vegetarian!"  as they sit there with their bright eyes and hopeful looks...waiting for that pat on the head of approval.  It's that kind of stuff thats off-putting to me.  I don't want to know if you eat seared flesh of beast, or not.

I will try to answer as best I can from my reasons and my understanding.

It's not that cows die from milking, or hens die from laying eggs.  Being vegan more has to do with the treatment of the animals in factory farms, which is where a majority of eggs and milk products orginate.

The calves are usually kept for veal, and the cows are kept preg. as much as possible.  The hens are made to lay eggs at a much higher rate than they would in the "wild", and that in turn damages their health and gives them a much shorter lifespan.

I think everyone that is vegan has their own reasons for not eating meat, dairy, and egg products.  I personally did a lot of reading about animal conditions in the factory farms, slaughter houses..etc...and besides the health benefits it gives me, those are my other reasons.

To the best of my knowledge.. my Master is not kept from his children, kept in a cage not to move, kicked, skinned alive, etc... he works, then comes home to his loving slave, who very happily takes in this protein.

That's just how I see it, and I am sure other vegans/vegetarians see it different.

Thank you for your answer. I agree that the conditions in which some animals are kept are intolerable but I suppose I just have trouble thinking that veganism is the answer. It seems to me that the better thing to do is to buy eggs, cheese and other products from local farmers who will be more then happy to let you tour their farms. That not only takes money from the "bad" companies but gives it to the humane farmers. That is what I prefer to do by shopping at organic food marts and local co-ops whenever possible (curse the fact that ethical eating costs money....) and provides evidence that people care and are willing to pay for food that is gotten humanely. I know once I get out of college and can afford it, that is where all my food dollars will go. Plus you get tastier eggs from free-range chickens... [:)]

mnottertail -> RE: Forced Vegetarianism??? (12/18/2006 1:09:57 PM)

Hens lay eggs constantly, whether they are being fucked or not, based on light, it ain't killing them to leave the lights on, in fact you are doing more harm to the moths and butterflies and other bugs by leaving lights on.

Any other thought about this is incorrect.

You are welcome.

I do agree that I would be more likely to eat eggs if I could go to a farm, see how they were raised, and purchase them.  It's not so much the egg, as the conditions that bother me.  Even the ones that say free-range in the store aren't kept the way people picture it.  I do admit I like soy milk a lot better than regular, so I would drink it regardless.

I understand that not everyone can see things the same way, that's why I never force the subject on them.  Like with you, I will answer questions if asked the best I can, but I don't expect that to give someone a revelation that they should change everything.

There is no ONE answer to things, there are different things that help, and people do it in different ways, one is not better or worse, just different.

Some (vegans) say if it has a "face" or a "mother" you can't eat it.
Some say plants scream too.
I don't what the answer is.  To each his own.

The screaming of the plants?
