horses my grandpas milking barn the perfume Beautiful (this one is for Homestead) a clean healthy woman aroused freshly mowed grass freshly baled hay the honeysuckle vine on my cedar fence my old fashioned roses bread baking coffee perking a freshly opened package of coffee the smell that comes from River Street Sweets in Savannah GA (or my kitchen when I cannot stand my praline craving any longer) when they are making pralines a turkey roasting puppies a babies neck leather laundry that was hung out to dry the previously mentioned rain smells bacon cooking a campfire in the fall the air outside after a heavy wet snow the smell of the ground in the spring when it is warming, fertile with a promise of what is to come (when hiking in the woods) the smell of school papers when I was little and they were still damp and cool from the mimeograph machine my dads woodshop, different smells for different kinds of woods
