LOL... you are the second person I've heard say that!  I have a vanilla gal-pal who admitted the same thing!  She says they smell like grass.

What I wanna know is...how does one come to discover this?  LOL

Some of these smells are smells that i absolutely despise. I can't stand the smell of wood-smoke anytime because it means work and danger cause I am a firefighter, I do not enjoy the smell of fresh cut alfalfa because I live on a ranch with over 1000 acres of alfalfa that my me, my dad and our two other workers would have to cut three times a year ate least.

I do love the smell of rain though.

I like the way a smell on the breeze will transport me back to another time and place.

Even landlocked, I can get a whiff of an ocean smell and be back on the coast, back in time. There is a certain smell of a hot summer day that takes me back to a time of about seven years old on that same sort of dry prairie hot summer day. I love to return to smells of places. The BC rainforest, so lush with life.

I remember and miss the smell of some ones. Not their perfume, their real smell.

The most incongruous smell episode was the smell of old lady house in a scuzzy porno theatre.

I feel vindicated!!!!! They just have a sweet musty smell that I like :)  However, my dogs are perplexed by this human behaviour. (I wonder what Benji's feet smell like?)

Edited to add:  I had my dog laying on his back cradled in the crook of my arm while I was giving him a belly rub while I was watching TV.  His foot was there.. I got curious.. I sniffed it for no reason whatsoever.... then I sniffed my other dog's foot..   they all smell the same.  (Go ahead, take a sniff..you know you wanna!  It'll haunt you until you do.)

I also like the smell of garages with the motor oils-  it reminds me of my father.
Dairy farms - reminds me of a farm we used to visit and ride horses and play.
Freshly mown grass
The desert after a rain.

I don’t know why, because my father was a bastard, but I absolutely LOVE the aftershave he wore: Old Spice...but a little goes a long way

Boy, does this bring back a memory.  I was manager of a lowest rent rooming house in the universe.  Some female that lived there walked into my apartment, layed down on my bed, took her clothes off, and said if you go to 7-11 and buy a bottle of Old Spice, you can have me.  I can't make love to guy who is not wearing Old Space.  So I ran to 7-11 which was three blocks away and bought a bottle Old Spice and ran back to the hotel.  A dozen police cars had surrounded the place, and an officer walked up to me asked if I had left a grrl in my room.  I answered, "No," as I knew she had a boyfriend, and I didn't want to get either of us in trouble.  The officer said, "Something serious has happened, and you better tell the truth."  So, I told the truth.  He said, "Well, I'm sorry to tell you this but that girl stole your gun, and chased her boyfriend up and down the hallway firing at him and every other guest that poked their head out of their door.  There were bulltet holes
everywhere.  No one was injured.  She was taken to jail.  No one pressed charges, not even her boyfriend.  A few weeks later, all charges were dropped and she moved back into the hotel with her boyfriend.  But this is the story of my life.  Everytime I'm about to get lucky, the craziest possible thing happens, and I never see the girl again.
