First of all, you misread my comments and ascribed them yourself to the Chicago Ordinance. I have no knowledge of the Chicago Ordianance and never claimed to. The current trend and activism, however, for banning foie gras is because of the cruelty involved and is why California and other countries have banned it.
I explained that I am tired of people being contrary for the sake of it. That comment you made about ordering foie gras (which you don't think they serve) and the others you made proved you really don't give a rat's ass. Your comment was childish and I chose not to continue the conversation.
However, when one points that out you respond in an immature matter you turn and call them a liar and accuse them of running, when in actuality you have made an ass out of yourself by misinterpreting someone's words and then going on the warpath.
This thread is of a topic near and dear to my heart and I have no desire to get all worked up over people wanting to be difficult.
Edited to add - all of your posts may have been regarding the Chicago Ordinance, but not all of the posts in this thread have been strictly related to it. The post you questioned was my post in response to benji's. So get off your high horse.
