It is reasonable within limits and allowing some exceptions.  The closest I have come to it is to have my live in slave be nude while I was there,  even if we were not playing.  Most of the time, I have not been in a 24/7 relationship.  I prefer a sub/slave be nude while we are together.

looks like one of those militant anti-bra sites. Stats can be interpreted in many different ways, getting the results one is looking for just means that you have to figure out what question gives you the desired stats.

-also, most women who rarely wear bras are on the small size. Larger breasted women usually prefer a bra because the damn things get it the way when they flop around everywhere! You can spot those women who burned their bras in the sixties and never looked back....just look for the hairy legs and breasts around the waist.....shopping   for organic whatever in the local co-op.
- muscles do atrophy when not used.. but the breasts are not made of muscle tissue. they rest on top of muscle tissue..

Actually, that's one reason I like NOT wearing a bra......I don't like being restricted.........I have 36DD/E breasts and they only *flop* in the way I suppose they were intended to.....rather nicely and naturally..lol. They certainly don't get in the way.

I don't find it practical at all.  But I have family that can drop by in an instant. 
I know that some have the idea of constant and "easy access", but wow.. I can't imagine being with someone who was so immediate that they couldn't disrobe me, rip my clothes from my body, or simply tell me to get naked.

I think this is one of those things you should know about a person before you move in.

i think it is completely practical if common sense is used (like alot have said about robes etc.) Although i sort of hope tht my Daddy wouldn't want that from me.

i'm  part of the 24 hr a day bra wearing group (except when Daddy is home, then the bra is off for sex and stuff) Mine are really big so I tend to wear a long tank top over my bra without panties or a skirt without panties or little short pajamma shorts. This gives my Daddy easy access to all the areas he would want to use and allows for my boobs to be comfotable.

I served naked almost every weekend for 3 years during my longest relationship -  naked except for a chastity device and collar.

There is nothing sexual about it at all - it is how the Domme i served wanted things to be.

It did get chilly sometimes but I got used to it - plus when you are cleaning, serving, and doing slave chores it does not seem to be chilly at all - they are alot of work.

The logistics of unexpected visitors or an unexpected door bell ring simply meant a quick exit to a rear room for myself.

Well, of course, this is only one mans opinion, but....I think it's perfectly reasonable for a sub to remain naked at all times, presuming the sub is female.

(I could be wrong....but I stand by my opinion).

I can only say what my slaves have done in the past and those slaves who come into service in the future; will be naked in my household.
I like what I see when they're naked--  Bodies are beautiful how their muscles ripple or their genitals move freely.
 
As for the question to answering the door; there are either a bath robe hanging in the hall cloak closet or they have sweats to hop into.
If it will be a dinner party or some afternoon tea; there will be a slave dressed to answer the door and help the guests.  If I have more than plenty of slaves, I'll have two dressed.  I like butler uniforms for such occassions both formal or informal depending on the event held.
 
My friends, especially in the scene know to call ahead as to visit.  I hate surprise visits.  Pizza delivery, well in ordering a pizza you have time to get dressed and answer the door, with the money and coupons ready in an envelope.  As for any unannounced visitor, a polite..."Just a minute you caught me before I was going into the shower."  Most will gladly wait. 
 
My slaves do not use the furniture, unless they have permission or using the computer.  They carry 'butt' towels and sit on them no matter where they sit.  When they move --so do their towels.  Even when using a chair for the computer; they best be sitting on a butt towel.  So, if there is a sudden surprise opening of the door, they can always wrap the towel around them--then they're covered.

heh. i prefer to be half-naked. (fully naked would suck cos i've got too much good lingerie and accessories to go to waste!) can't wait for summer here in Oz :) but yeah i'm a bit of an exhibitionist and do it totally of my own volition. screw being told i have to be (altho i'll happily get my gear off if told, but He wouldn't tell me unless the situation was appropriate.)

re pizza delivery guys etc, i have a bath robe on hand.

WEll now... Even as a Domme, I much prefer being naked at home, even in the middle of winter. This is mostly due to the fact that even in the middle of summer. my landlord refuses to turn my off my heat, or keep it at a level I can stand. Between that, living in an apartment (where other food smells will permeate rgardless of candles), and the fact that my kitten likes to scratch at the glass if the balcony door is closed, I find it more convenient to be a bit chilled. So I keep scads of warm and fuzzy blankets around. As for unexpected visitors, most of my male friends have worked as "bodyguards" for me when I'm dancing, due to the fact that most bouncers arent paid well enough to give a flying fuck about my safety, and are used to me, my body, and my odd habits. Most of my female friends are either strippers or escorts, and lord only knows how many times we've all walked in on one another. So unexpected visits by friends arent really an issue. Delivery guys in my city (or at least at the places I order from) seem to be strangely sleazy, so a trenchcoat works just fine. Every once in a while though, when I'm right pissy at my landlord (for instance the 8th unnanounced visit in as many days), I'll answer the door naked for the hell of it. Or wearing stripper heels, or a strap on, or I just won't bother to stop having sex when she puts her key in the lock. I suppose its all about circumstances for me.

Maybe it's just me, but this smacks more of being a sex thing than a domination thing.  I think it's probably more prevalent that a male Dom would like their female sub naked all the time over a female Domme would want their male sub naked all the time.

Bottom line, if the sub wants to be naked all the time, then it's not a show-stopper.  I see that there are times when the Dom/Domme would want their sub naked on display and that's a reasonable request - but all the time seems a bit much.  BUT, if the Dom/Domme and Sub really click, and naked all the time seems right - go for it.

I think those involved would get gradually desensitized to it after awhile and thus loose the allure of it being special/arousing.

I don't see why it wouldn't be 'reasonable' or workable. After all, plenty of people are nudists anyway and they get along very well and enjoy it without upsetting the neighbours or casual callers, etc.

I suppose the only questions here are... is it 'punishment' or 'degrading' for the sub..? (and is that even what's intended..?) And is the fact of being naked all the time going to lessen the 'novelty' of nudity (and consequent lack of desire..?).

It wouldn't bother me at all to be naked all the time, or partially clothed or anything for that matter. All that would bother me would be the practicalities, and they're easily solved, aren't they?

I think it is reasonable, however, in a female slave or sub, she would need to be covered during those certain times of the month, or else there would be a mess....and I think neither Dom nor sub would want this....also when family comes to visit, and friends not into the lifestyle. I however prefer my sub to be clothed at times when it is cold, or with lingerie or something light that can be easily taken off. So in short, can the slaves be naked almost all the time? yes. Will it happen? it depends on the dynamic of the D/s relationship and what they have both agreed or what the other has imposed as his or her decision for the other to agree.[:D]

This slave feels it is because it was with a MASTER last year who did require this, only inside of course.  When needed, HE had slave sit in the bedroom if HE was in the house with someone not comfortable with that lifestyle and since the bedroom doubled as the playroom HE would keep the door closed.  Most of the time though the people who came over were also in the lifestyle or people HE knew for so long that they knew and accepted HIS lifestyle.  In these cases, slave went on about its normal duties completely nude. 

If  HE was outside with company, in the lifestyle or not, slave was to remain nude in the house and continue its normal duties.  When HE was going out to run errands and wanted slave to go with HIM, HE would give slave enough notice so that HE didn't have to wait for it.

Of course when HE had slave doing yardwork, it wore ver little, and never any underwear, and when slave had to come inside briefly to get something it needed for outside it had permission to keep its clothes on for those brief periods.

So HE knew what HE was doing by requiring slave to be naked at all times at home.

I agree, I didn't spend all that money on lovely lingerie to see it go to waste.  Besides, it's fun being ordered to strip, or feeling him strip me, for certain activities.  The times when I'm walking around naked are specially exciting because it doesn't happen all the time.

My slave is always nude when with me at home. If we're ordering take out I have his shorts close by. Other than that he's nude. So yes it is a reasonable demand.
