I am an equal opportunity religion basher, but I tend to reserve my bashings for those that spread a message of misinformation or hate. I have no more love for a Wiccan or Baha'i than I do for a Christian or Muslim, but have yet to have a Wiccan tell me how I am going to be tortured for all eternity for refusing to kiss the asses of their god and goddess.  The minute that I run into an Asatru insisting that the Norse creation myth be taught in public schools as science, i'll be verbally bitch slapping them as well. Until then, live and let live. Everyone is entitled to their delusions, so long as the delusions aren't making them burn people at the stake or bringing about a new intellectual dark age.

But tossing everyone of a particular sect into a bucket and calling them all the same is like doing the same to us in this "lifestyle," no?  There are bad seeds everywhere, but they do not define the whole.

What is the saying? A few bad apples spoils the lot? I see this as doubly true when the supposed good apples stand on the sidelines in silence, allowing the hate of the minority to fester and spread. Silence implies agreeance, IMO.

I still like them here. But their old running buddy Dave Mustaine, now, he lost me a while back.

Now that is a man with SERIOUS credentials.  To get thrown out of Metallica for being too drunk and violent.  I find that more impressive than the guy who got tossed from Guns n'Roses for doing too much heroin.

Honestly though, I go to the credits for all the Metallica stuff I really liked and it was written by or with Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton... all the way up to "Justice" if memory serves.

I agree about silence equaling agreement.  But how we use our voices is rather important, in my point of view.  Those spewing hate at hate are not going to get very far, as they quickly lose credibility.  As for a few bad apples...yes and no.  There are more than a few bad apples in the life of BDSM, D/s, M/s, LMNOP....you get the idea.  But that does not make the group as a whole bad.  Does it?

Yes, Cliff Burton contributed up to "Justice"; now Mustaine didn't last that long, remember that he has always held some bitterness for being booted right before they blew up. He did fine with Megadeth though, but began a decline after "Rust In Peace".

This might a little bit off subject, but I believe that this guy can seduce a woman with a mere cocked eyebrow and finger snap.

"I like my martinis shaken..........not stirred."  Multiple vaginas moisten automatically when this fellow walks into the bar.

Agreed here, also. Sadly, too many good voices from the religious arena are drowned out by the fire-and-brimstone crowd.

Hi LeMis . cuddles is always looking for a spanking, but she's a good woman, so it's tough for her to be "bad".
