I see so many Christian-bashing threads, I just thought a little equal opportunity bashing would be appropriate.  Any other religious sects we should pick on?  Or would that be non-pc?  Inappropriate?  Unorthodox (had to throw that in for a pun)?

   Well, I for one, have completely had it with the Buddists.  They completely wrecked Metallica!  It is worse than what Scientology did for Tom Cruises career.

WICCANS.

    Every time I hear someone mention "blah, blah, blah, Goddess, Beltane, Solstice, blah, blah blah" it makes me a little bit homicidal.  Within thirty seconds of meeting you, a pagan will go out of their way to let you know just how "different" and enlightened they are.  I think that these people are mostly high-school rejects who are attempting to overcompensate for their feelings of powerlessness with tales of spell-casting and feigned esoteric knowledge of the spheres.  I don't give a shit about the differences between "white magic" and "black magic".  As a matter of fact, I feel this uber-intense urge to rip their fucking pentacles off of their necks, and tell them to grow the fuck up. 

      But really..............................some of them are nice.......................I guess.

     The drum is merely a symptom.  They sucked long before that came along.  Still, it was a shock to find myself changing the station when they came on after years of conditioning to turn it up.

I am an equal opportunity religion basher, but I tend to reserve my bashings for those that spread a message of misinformation or hate. I have no more love for a Wiccan or Baha'i than I do for a Christian or Muslim, but have yet to have a Wiccan tell me how I am going to be tortured for all eternity for refusing to kiss the asses of their god and goddess.  The minute that I run into an Asatru insisting that the Norse creation myth be taught in public schools as science, i'll be verbally bitch slapping them as well. Until then, live and let live. Everyone is entitled to their delusions, so long as the delusions aren't making them burn people at the stake or bringing about a new intellectual dark age.

I still like them here. But their old running buddy Dave Mustaine, now, he lost me a while back.

But tossing everyone of a particular sect into a bucket and calling them all the same is like doing the same to us in this "lifestyle," no?  There are bad seeds everywhere, but they do not define the whole.
