Last night my dad had to go to the hospital for an overnight stay, his knee was swollen and his regular doctor was working last night in the ER.  He's had some issues a while back, and was in ER and in the hospital for a few weeks...

My mom has to have surgery on her artery in her neck (I am not going to try to spell it since I just woke up) on Nov. 1, this really worries me....

Nope we sure don't stop worrying about them.  Both my parents have had open heart surgery, mom's was over 12 yrs ago and now there in major blockage in her neck.... She has MS on top of this all too.  The hospital she's going to is absolutely NOT her first pick, she had a very bad experience there yrs ago but that's where her Dr wants her to go.  (Hopefully they have the "issue" resolved by now)

Dear LeMis,

I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with your family.  My elderly father lives with me and I wouldn't have it any other way.  I promised my mom that I would always take care of him and I won't break that promise.  Be their advocate in their medical care and their voice when they feel they don't have a say, and you'll do just fine, and so will they...

Thanks DRH,

I have 2 younger brothers who help out quite a bit as well, we are all local so that's a plus too.
My dad is waiting on fluid to be extracted off his knee and for an MRI, so one brother in taking mom up to the hospital now, I'll take her this evening.

Sometimes they resent our input, advice and/or tips... but then after they think about it for a bit, they sometimes do take us up on it, lol.

Thanks again!

The thought of setting my car on fire for daring to break down on me has popped into my head a few times today......

There was a man called Dave
Who kept a dead whore in a cave.
He said, "I admit
I am a bit of a shit,
But think of the money I save."

I can top that...

when the captian is drunk as hell?
Who's job is it to fly the plane,
when the crew members are just as well?
Who's job is it to land the plane,
when no one can be found?
Who's job is it to land the plane,
as it's spinning round and round.
Who's job is to say the prayers,
as the plane is about to crash?
I know it surely must be my job,
my head is between my a**!"

There once were two young girls from Birmingham.
I knew a wild story concerning 'em.
They lifted the frock
And diddled the cock
Of the Bishop engaged in confirming 'em.

Now the Bishop was nobody's fool,
He'd been to a fine public school.
He lowered his britches
And fucked both those bitches
With his twelve-inch Episcopal tool.

But that didn't startle these two,
Why they laughed as the Bishop withdrew,
The Vicar is quicker
And thicker and slicker
And longer and stronger than you!

I am glad that I have the Master that I do.  Yesterday, we had one of our nice long talks, where I asked Him a lot of questions about what He thinks of certain aspects of bdsm that we don't necessarily talk about much.  After 3 and a half years, I am still learning about Him, and I love Him more and more.
