Ah yes, I love that attitude. I was recently told I was "not confident enough" to dominate a particular man because we had a casual first meeting a few blocks from his office where his co-workers might see us, and I *gasp* treated him politely and with respect while we talked. Of course, a true Domme's goal is to get her slave fired so he will have more time to spend on hands and knees with his tail up in the air. LOL

Occassionally I find myself trying to "rehabilitate" (as I call it) a person like this. I'm always sorry, it never works, and I usually get insulted for my efforts. I'm doing it with one right now and wondering every step of the way "Don't I ever learn?" But I am getting better at rejecting them quicker, and in my own defense, at least this person can use complete sentences.

Having communicated with very many male submissives/slaves here and elsewhere, textually, vocally and face to face I will say that such a response is, more often than not, a clear sign of someone with a personality disorder. I have dealt with some crazies here from mild to maniacal. The mild ones seek to create chaos in some form because the edges of their identities are fuzzy and in order for them to really feel like they exist they must have some form of strong emotion or response to bounce their psyche off of. It is common for such people to move you from the position of Angel to Devil in the same breath. It is all a matter of what brings them the response that they are looking for. I happen to get the most stimulation by slipping to the "boring them into fleeing" mode. They don't know what to do with how I calmly and reasonably I respond, allowing their heated barrages to float right by me.
I do not say that this is the case with all insult mongers, but I would certainly say it is with many.

i've heard the same thing from Dominant women....i show respect of course but one Domme was furious when i told Her i wasn't interested but thanked Her for Her interest. She said i was a "phony" and a "fake".
Some people have their own ideas of what is Domme/sub and can't understand why it would stray from that.
Frankly i'm thinking that i need to go to even more eveents in NYC...online seems so impersonal.
