Homestead, i didnt said that he was not expressing himself well and i get the point about hypocrisy but why starting the first post abvout that , and why being hurtfull or moking ( once again the "elephant" in the corner expression). Did you (all) have once heard a BBW, fat or so telling about skinnier person: i pointed toward the skeleton in the corner? If one of us ( i'm a bbw) used that kind of word she would risk being burned on the market place. Don't do to the others what you would'nt like happening to yourself!!!!! i think it s a nice philosophy.

Now personally, I would not mind a fat, ugly submissive. I'd rather I was the cutest, thinnest one in the room. Oh - I don't think I am fat, and I do think I am at least moderatley attractive.

Anything is possible, but look at what is reasonable. People who work out and take care of thier bodies usually want a match for that. They are aware of the health reasons. Many will not have much respect for those they percieve do not value thier health in the same way. Nor will they enjoy the stress of being with one they percieve may suffer some calamity from it. I'm an older man, a bit on the heavy side myself. I'm told I am not "bad looking". Past girls have thought I was handsome. Still, I don't put up a picture. I want my core expression to be the attraction, not my shell. I look at things long term, and seek a very special and unusual sort of woman. I have a mental picture of a spirit, not a body.

I feel shitty for those guys, who aren't "conventionally" attractive, but have shining personalities, because they are doomed to REJECTION. But of course, like you so cleverly pointed out, every woman is going to claim to be the "exception to the rule", and get defensive when you expose their innate shallowness. Here's a valid social experiment to help prove your point. Walk into any Chippendales, and observe how many women you see getting hot and bothered for "Ted, the 47-year old, kind-hearted social worker with a blue-ribbon smile."

I am a BBW; have been all my life and have lived with the stigma all along. There are times that we don't 'count' because we are fat. People will talk over me WHILE I'M TALKING, because I'm not society's idea of perfect. Fat people are made fun of and discounted all the time. And I respond to anyone who WRITES WELL to me. If they can spell and say something worth reading, I will respond to them, whether or not they have a picture. And if they do send a picture, I respond to the LARGEST COCKS; forget the face. I'm after the cock. Perfection for me is having a cock too thick and long to get into me, and give me pain stuffing it into me... I've tried losing weight, and it just does not work; not for long. I take after my Grandmother, who was a BBW. I have genetics against me....

How nice of you to represent yourself with pictures of another man who isn't you. The fact that you did that, and now hide behind a fake name, leads me to conclude that your only goal was to take an opportunity to criticize a segment of people whom you don't find attractive. You mention nothing about performing your little experiment on an old, unattractive woman who may desire a young, attractive male over the ugly one, or the ugly thin women who might have also may have preferred the attractive male. All things being equal, a pretty smile is usually preferred by everyone, regardless of if they have one themselves. Your experiment is far from scientific... and to the point of your thread, I say .... So?

Nor do I, a 47 year old man, go chasing the cutest 18 year old girls I can find, to make me feel young again. They aren't of my generation, and have not the experience to bring to the table that an older woman does. I am a bit gunshy of very pretty women as well. Unless I can see that they are very intelligent and mature. In a society the worships beauty, far too many seem to rely on looks, to the detriment of developing in other areas.

Sorry, can't relate. I'll respond to a great letter any day, and actually prefer no picture first. Do I have a limit in terms of what I find attractive? Yes. I got suckered into meeting someone who was 80-100 pounds heavier than the chubby picture he sent me. The man actually made me look thin. (hard to do!) I will also say that someone being overly conventionally handsome does not really sway me, though.

G'morning all: Normally, I pass the "hating fatties" threads right on by. This one kind of irked me. Just because someone's overweight they're not entitled to their preferences? BLINKS How does that make this select group of individuals hypocrites? Everyone has different aspects they find attractive. There's many men out there that I find ascetically pleasing but wouldn't give them the time of day because they're idiots. Same goes for some hefty hunks. I do place a higher value on one's personality but if there's no physical chemistry, I would be doing myself a disservice by entertaining any possibilities otherwise. For the record, my boy has a handsome face but is overweight and hairy as a wookie. His outgoing personality, wit, charm, and humor are what won me over. Before we ever met. I can not understand why someone would go to so much time and effort, as this 'survey' must have taken, to try and point out a flaw in human nature. Yes, there are shallow people everywhere..we all know that already. Why not do a 'survey' on some good facets of people?? What's the purpose, other than to try and humiliate? I dunno, I have received some emails from some GQ hunky almost beautiful men... they did nothing for me because they were younger than myself... I do not like pretty boys, I prefer average looking.. I was attracted to Daddy despite his striking and head turning good looks, not because of them.

I think what is happening is men are finally going thru what women have gone thru for centuries. Men have traditionally chosen a mate based upon looks first then personality later.....Now that Women are doing that same thing, men are starting to feel the STING of that type of rejection. Beautiful Women have for centuries married BUFUGLY men most times for security but also because of personality. Hardly ever do you see a DROP DEAD GORGEOUS MAN with a BUFUGLY woman. We didn't exchange pictures. We're both old, being in our fifties. And he's heavier than I am which is just how I like it. I admit it, I'm shallow. I like dark haired men a little older than me, tall and heavier. These are my preferences. What I don't do is put down young skinny blond guys because that would be rude whether done here or at a dinner party when I've been seated next to one.
