To expect others to relearn a new 'natural attraction' is not only unlikely to happen, but judgmental.  You are in effect just imposing upon them your standards of attraction.

Yet you find nothing judgmental in his wanting folks to change the way they post their profile pics to suit his standard of attractiveness?

Well, I certainly didn't say that.  What I said in my original post to this thread was that I really didn't understand why everyone was going ape shit about this guys post.  He wasn't asking people to change something fundamental to themselves, he wasn't criticizing people for being fat or ugly.. I think he was just asking.. if you have decided to post a picture of yourself, why would you post one that looks like you haven't bathed in a week or so.

Now, I may be interpreting his post wrong, and given my own history, I have a little bit of a problem with men who are willing to toss you out for not being Barbi-perfect enough, but..I didn't interpret what he was saying to mean that.  I might well be wrong.... but, hehe, have you also ever noticed how many people will put up pictures and in the background is a filthy, minging stinking mess of a room behind them?  Half empty Cheeto bags crumpled on the seat beside them, messy couch, unvacuumed carpets, nasty, dirty pillow cases etc?  Now THAT cracks me up.

To me it sounded like he was telling people, especially female sub/slaves to present themselves to HIM in a more proper, attractive and respectful manner.

Kind of like when a Dom addresses a female sub/slave in an email or a post and starts out with "you will address me as Master or Sir" something 99% of the female sub/slaves here on cm have stated over and over again they find obnoxious.

I have only ever seen one photo that prompted me to say that particular person needs to clean their room, other than that honestly no i have not.

I agree with twice, except that I have never seen pictures here yet with backgrounds so filthy hazmat should be called or that I'd be afraid to be in that enviroment.

I don't know if this has been posted before or not but I would highly recommend it.  If you're posting a genuine picture of yourself, superimpose your user name over the top of it.

Speaking from experience, some less than honest people can "adopt" your picture as their own and you may find yourself appearing on sites you really wish you weren't.

How do you superimpose you name over it.

You're welcome to send it to me and I'll do it for you if you like, cuddleheart - (or you can just use an application like Photoshop, add a layer with your name on it, and turn down the opacity to around a third of the actual photo.)
