That is an interfaith statement and therefore you would also be responsible for Muslims as well and Christians and Jews. I have seen some hatefilled things that White Americans have done, such as tell Mexicans to "go home" and up until recent years, tell Black people to get to eh back of the bus and not use a drinking fountain... I wonder if you would be one of those?

If the Mexicans are Illegal yes... As far as Blacks go they're here through no fault of thier own but I don't agree that it's All white peoples fault that they are here either, thier own people captured them & sold them into slavery!!!

Under your theory of being responsible for the actions of your "brother" every time someone lynches a black person (and it happens STILL) YOU are responsible for their hate...Im not the one holding you responsible, you are the one that thinks this way.

I think Islam is a beautiful religion and find the Koran to be a beautiful book, but not one that can or should be applied literally in this day and age. I feel the same way about the Bible as well.

Followers are a whole different matter. Just because you say you do something in the name of some God or religion does not mean you really do. I know many great and peaceful Muslims and the majority are.

We also need to be careful when talking about culture and religion. They are not the same thing.  There are many Arab/MidEast customs and views that are cultural and not religious. It's a fine line that gets blended and blurred.

I sit here with a Koran. When I was about 16 years old I went the a website and requested info about Islam...they sent me a Koran that is worth about 100 dollors for free. [:D]  Cool, huh? My favorite Sura is about tolerance. it is the way Muslims are supposed to deal with unbelievers.

Which ye worship,

Nor will ye worship
That which I worship.

And I will not worship
That which ye have been
Wont to worship

today my friend had her scarf ripped of her head, was spat on and called a murderer, i punched someone for the first time in my life, she was probably the only one in the whole encounter who behaved in a peaceful way

judaism came first with the o.t. writings, then christianity piggybacked with a n.t. and then muhammed saw these and other beleifs around him and piggybacked off of the other 2, so none of them are about peace.

You can't put a cigarette paper between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I really don't know how one can call the other violent. I  think a couple of mirrors are required.

However, most of the problems in the Islamic world are nationalistic and territorial and have nothing to do with religion at all other than some fanatics draping problems in religion.

All religions can be dangerous, mainly because they’re words that people put there faith in-no words are infallible, there open to interpretation, and people will interrupted them to please themselves. It’s not religion that's the problem, it’s people, being Islamic doesn’t make someone a bad or violent person, anymore then being Christian or atheist. Being human assures that some percentage of followers of any faith are going to abuse it.

  the muslim religion is a religion against God... they people came from Abraham when he slept with Sarah's maid servant. The child with his mother was outcasted and and ever since they have been trying to get revenge against any Christain Nation... That is why they hate us so much.
In the muslim bible they call the Quran it says this (notice the chapter and verse look familiar?)
Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

and you say this is a peaceful religion? then explain this?

Let's start with verse 4:74 - "Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the hereafter, fight for the cause of Allah; whoever fights for the cause of Allah, whether he dies or triumphs, on him We shall bestow a rich recompense." I know that evangelists do die in the field but I have not seen too many who go into the field expecting to die. But we will continue.
Let's try verse 9:111 - "Allah has purchased from the faithful their lives and worldly goods, and in return has promised them the Garden. They will fight for the cause of Allah, they will slay, and be slain." Oops, I have never known any evangelist who went out slaying or killing those to whom they were evangelizing. I believe that this proves beyond any doubt that the war Muhammad keeps talking about in the Koran has to do with actual warfare and killing. So keep in mind that these Muslim leaders were lying to you, the Muslims in the Middle East including Osama Bin Ladden are not lying to you, and that the US Muslims who have said Islam is a religion of peace have no credibility.
Verse 9:123 - "Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you."
It should be clear that this verse commands Muslims to wage war on all non-Muslims around them. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.
Verse 47:3 - "When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly."
That is what I call a harsh religion. You are supposed to strike off the heads of those to whom you evangelize?
Verse 48:29 - "Muhammad is Allah's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another."
Verse 66:9 - "Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate."
