And who else is piqued by the irony that many of the men behind the scenes of these questions are less than the epitome of physical (or intellectual) attractiveness themselves?  If you are going to impose some standardization of beauty upon your property, at least have the decency to have maxed out your own personal hygiene potential.

What motivates an owner to correct the imperfections in the property but not themselves?

I'm an old, fat, balding, ugly, tattooed, pierced, evil, sadistic, hung-like-a-stud-fieldmouse bastard.

I have the pics to prove it!

I'm from north Alabama, and live in South Carolina, so hillbilly doesn't really apply but redneck might. 

My girl janey has lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 pounds over the last few months by switching medications from Seroquel to Topomax... the Seroquel gave her the constant munchies, the Topomax killed her appetite... none of it was my doing.

Me on the other hand, MY happy ass needs to exercise more, and once I get the green light from my cardiologist I will be doing so.  Right now I am walking and breathing, and that's about all they wil let me do since the quadruple bypass.  I have already made massive changes in the way we eat.  Healthier food choices, smaller portions, better ratios of fruit and vegetables to meat and complex carbohydrates, sayonara most processed sugar...

Having had a heart attack helps you re-prioritize your life.  I wish to live a long and healthy life, my girl wants me around and I want her around.  Together, we will make changes to help us do that.

You will never, ever, ever catch me bitching about my weight on here or in my day to day life; because I agree that if I am unhappy with something about me, and it is within my power to change it, I should do it rather than complain about it.
My value system is slightly different than mainstream USA, for what I hope are obvious reasons.   And while I have plenty of shallowness to me, I've always known enough about myself to realize that beauty is not what holds my love/attention.   It isn't even what gets my attention oftentimes, because I actually am generally not attracted to men who are prettier than I am.   M

Status: offline 		lately it seems all I read about are rants from submissive women and dommes who think everyone should love them regardless.....and the thing like some people have said is that we all have preferences, and I have seen women on here I consider "ugly" just as I am sure some considered me ugly, and frankly I could care less.....
the weight issue is different and only one on their own can change that....I used to weight 210 pounds, and now I weight a decent 162 pounds, and I feel better than I have in years....I still don't understand and never will understand people who continue to eat and have to use a wheel chair to the point where their weight has become a disability....as my cousin says "only in America" you see that more often than elsewhere.....thats just not caring about yourself....hence when I reached the 210 pounds, I looked at myself and said "hell no" this stops here.

I don''t see a problem with Doms asking nicely that their future subs lose some weight or a lot of weight as they may see a potential the sub herself may not see, as well as for the fact that if he is skinny or skinnier himself is not too much to ask....it would be different if he was fat also and the Dom was unwilling to lose weight himself, because that is a contradiction in itself.

as for the hillbilly issue, I guess it does not affect me as I was born in another country, and have completed much education to fall in that category.

just my point of view on these whinnings and issues people have.

EnglishDomNW, not necessarily, but people are judgemental....for the better or worse, and the first thing that enters our biased minds are not personality so much, but looks.....its unfortunate, but its an innate thing if you ask me.
