I haven't played publically as of yet, so I don't know exactly what my state of dress will be.  I'm shy but with an exhibitionist streak, so being partially or fully naked would definately keep me on my toes, so to speak.

While it's been years since i did any public play, or even attended a play party, seeing the sub/slave mostly or completely nude, and the Dom/Master dressed, usually in leather, helped me slide right into the "proper" submissive frame of mind..yummmmmm...lol..  i also found it extremely sexy and hot.

I don't play in public, but my submissive and submissive/puppy are always naked when I'm with either in private. I, of course, wear whatever I want to...or not. [;)]

Fpr public play, I have always been fully clothed, while my partner was either partially clothed or naked (for play).

 It has generally always been naked, weither in public or private.  I have some serious self image issues and was a little mortified the first time I stripped but it  only took seconds for me to forget that anyone else was in the room.  The art of distraction is a wonderful tool  *s*
Recently I bottomed to another and  wore underwear for a public scene, funny enough it felt really weird to have clothes on.
What makes my husband  laugh is the fact I rarely walk around my house naked even tho we live out on an acreage.  When he asked me why,  I told him there are no mirrors at play parties other than the ones in the bathroom.

In the public play I have done,the submissives were either dressed fem or naked.
The Dommes were dressed at all times.


In the sessions I do at My home in the Dungeon I am always clothed in something.Unless like someone else mentioned its really hot,then I may go topless,but the submissives are blindfolded if I do this,so they dont see Me.
I have a strict rule about not seeing or touching Me in what I consider to be inappropiate ways.
The submissives may or may not be dressed,some are dressed fem when they get here and stay dressed the whole time.Some just wear the rope tie I do on the penis and balls,some wear just collars both on neck and penis.It pretty much depends on the mood I'm in,sometimes I dont wanna see that 'worm' so its covered at all times,after its been bound in rope.

It used to be.  My ex master liked the idea that I had to wear panties in public when I was nude otherwise to show that no one else could have access to it, and lots of women feel it's the one last vestige of modesty they can cling to and not be fully out there.

I have to admit I got a bit of a thrill at the GWNN bash last weekend being the only female NOT shaved down there.  Howevere, there were a chunk of males naked as well which is a rarity.

Nowadays I just get naked cuz it's more comfy and I like it- topping or bottoming.

Public play always fully clothed, private fully and sometimes partially clothed. Customs add alot of spice to play.

Private play:  Well, that's why we call it private isn't it?

Public play:  Usually all the clothes come off the subs at some point.  If the venue allows only partial nudity then panties or shorts stay on.  I've had submissives who's clothing appeared to magically repel from their bodies the moment they heard a single tail crack...it is really an amazing law of physics *smile*  and I've had some who were mortified to be wearing anything that exposed more than a cut off t-shirt and short cut-offs would show.

For Me:  I keep my clothes on, usually. and if I take off my shirt, I still keep the bottoms.  Simone de Beauvoir (I think) said "  A woman in a man's shirt with nothing else on is sexy and full of promise; a man in only a shirt looks like a clown."  Who am I to argue with HER?

Re: self image and play...actually one theraputic aspect of many dungeon parties is that novices get to see a lot of normal, not especially hard or toned bodies at play.  I once took a novice submissive to a club-sponsored play party in Vegas.  She was terrified about everything, but the biggest terror was getting naked in front of strangers.   When we walked into the main "dungeon" area (actually the hostess' garage, cleared out to be a play space) there was a scene where the bottom was a woman who I would estimate was at least 350 lbs, fully naked, bent over a spanking bench, with about 12 pounds of chain and weights hanging from her multiple labial piercings.  My sub took one look at her...and then another...and looked at Me and said (she has a very heavy Middle eastern accent) "Zis looks like it weel be very much fun, Sir" 

And AMEN to Lady Hugs.  No one...I don't care how hot, bothered, in the heat, or whatever...likes to find "trails" on the furniture.  Ugh.

well for us...private play we are both naked. When in a public dungeon, as naked at the rules allow. The dungeon we most frequent i am naked when we play.

I've done both and found it's usually determined by where you are and the people in the group/organization you're playing with.  Sometimes, it's left up to the submissive as to their comfort level when playing in public.

Rarely is it that I play completely naked or even topless.  I just find it too uncomfortable.  I like having everything contained and I like sexy clothes.  For my sub, it's usually in some state of undress whether public or private.

  For me it would depend really upon what we are doing and were we are at...and what is allowed.  I've been to parties were no nudity is allowed, to ones were it is.  Clubs we always follow the rule of the club.  As for who is clothed well I've done both a domme and a sub in my life so I've done both.  So I just use that on any of my subs...if i can do it you can too.

Hello A/all,

I have posted previously that Mr. Tiny gets kept under wraps in public.  I am just private that way.

I usually wear leather pants or my kilt.

I like my sub in a nice thong while I am making her keister a lovely red, purple, and blue color.

In private, clothes just get in the way.  But if I wander in to the kitchen and bend her over the sink, odds are fairly good we are
both wearing clothes.  Just seems to happen that way.  I dunno.

That is just me and I could be wrong.
