Before our move, we had the pleasure of playing in professional bdsm clubs both on the west coast and east coast.  Now, because of the region we live in, there is only occasional small group play when we travel.  In those situations we are both fully clothed.  This is primarily because of a bad situation we encountered several years ago with a "Dom" that couldn't understand where the boundries were for what wasn't his.  Luckly he is behind bars now, which is another story in itself, but we no longer take chances with those we don't know well enough and even with those we know very well.  In our home when we play with each other, we both usually end up naked because of what happens afterwards ;>   However, birishina is always the first to be in her birthday suite.

A little postscript:  When posting in the future I will be signing with the initials RSC for my monicure  RazeSadisticCane so that all will know that it is the Master of this house that is posting and not my lovely wife birishina.  Because her picture is the first on our profile and therefore shows up on all post, there has been some undersirable confusion recently as certain individuals assumed they were responding to her and didn't have the decency of showing respect to a woman they didn't even know.

We run play parties in Our Dungeon. No one is pressured to strip ... but anyone who wants to be naked to play isn't ogled either. For socialising around the supper table (or for those smokers who socialise outside), some clothing is the norm, simply from a comfort point of view (and yes, I don't want trail marks on the chairs!). In the Dungeon, disinfectant and paper towels are provided at strategic points and the rule is to clean equipment after you have used it so it's fresh for the next person. We also provide a clothes rack where clothing may be hung appropriately while not being worn.

As a Domme I tend to remain partly dressed, though I favour lingerie over My corsets (I find them too restrictive for active Domme play). I like My subs naked or near naked unless they are specially dressed (eg cross-dressed) for My pleasure. A nervous newbie might be allowed to keep his underpants on (unless they are boxer shorts which I detest LOL!) if he begs appropriately. Master removes His shirt sometimes (baring His gorgeous "buddha" for all to see LOL!), but tends to keep His pants on ... unless He requires my attention down there in which case i tend to be blocking everyone's view. As a subbie i am very exhibitionist so getting naked is no big deal ... and i am a BBW who has had several operations so my skin resembles a road map in some places. I think it's actually healthy for people to see that you don't have to have a "perfect body" (whatever that is) to be able to be naked for play in a Dungeon and for people to respect you and not give you a hard time over how you look.

We also respect those who prefer to play only in private and wish to attend only to socialise, there is no pressure to play and it is certainly not a 'free-for-all'. People keep their hands to themselves and know to be discreet even in observing scenes and not interfering with them. That said, the group is now pretty comfortable with each other and so people may be invited to share in a scene. We have some wonderful gay male friends who always wow Us with their play ... and they just love inviting trusted Mistresses to help tease their boys! It adds an extra dimension for those boys to have Women handling them. We have run some New Years parties with the theme "subs serve their Dominants" and subs wear whatever their Dominant deems appropriate at the time. However, We have requested that subs wear at least an apron whilst at the BBQ (remember it's hot here in Australia on NYE) simply as We don't want to try to call medical attention for major burns on NYE!

i have never been to a "club", but in private play partiesi have either been just in panties or in panties and a little tank, though i have wound up naked by the end.  In total private, i am usually nude, but sometimes i am in panties.

I tend to prefer play in an outfit I find pleasing.  I wil pick something out for him, and that stays on.  He isnt necessarily comfortable being nude often yet, and so I dont force it on him.  Since we only play privately, its not much of a problem.

As a Domme, in public bdsm venues, I am seen as dressed for the occasion, but in private, I am a bit more relaxed in my style, but always stay clothed.

As far as my sub(s) are concerned, they have either been completely nude both in public and private, or sissied.

I think that honestly depends on the space you're playing in, as well as the dynamics of those around you.  I'm more apt to strip a slave, provided what he's wearing is not a part of the "mood" (leather fetish, bondage of some sort), in whatever venue I can because it allows me full access, and it lets me fully assess their skin (the biggest organ of the body and a great health monitoring system.) An exception would be for boys who look exceptionally good in leather chaps -- I'll consider leaving them in just the chaps with their asses and genitals exposed.

As for me, I generally remain clothed in public.  Private, it depends on what's going on, but even for sex, I enjoy remaining in a leather corset....and a smile :-)

Ok, can you explain to me the fascination some of you guys have with women at a sink?
 
I almost always wear dresses or skirts around the house which means no underwear (good thing too i just offered all of mine, most of which still have the tags on, to kyra and alandra) and damn if almost every time i try to wash my hands Scooter sneaks up behind me and is happy to see me. I wash those rugs in front of the sink more than i care to think about.

Public my wife and I are always clothed, our submissive is sometimes nude or semi-nude depending on the need. In private naked as needed for play.

As someone who has played extensively both publicly and privately I tend to have my pets be as naked as allowed when I am playing with them.

As for myself, one rarely if ever sees a dominant disrobe so I try and play naked as much as possible.  When I do sensation play with a woman tied down on a table I tend to play naked because I use my whole body when playing.  I might let them feel nothing but my hair (which is a bit longer than shoulder length now) or my finger tips.  Then I will slide my whole body onto them and then slowly tease them by "leaving" with only some minimal touch connecting us.

Of course I am also one of those that loves having sex at play parties so that tends to involve nudity as well.
