This is all a little sad or maybe I'm just Mister Grumpy but how can a thread get so long about someone who has lost their TV remote and why would someone want to start a thread about a lost TV remote? And why the fuck am I contributing to this thread?

Sometimes stupid banter is needed to counteract all the seriousness in those damn political threads.

They are where they always are, they are buried deep in the creases of the couch benching, get to it!!!!!!!!!!

CreoleCook -> RE: So Lost. Please help! (9/29/2006 3:14:15 PM)

change the sheets on your bed... it may be within the folds of your comforter, or maybe down by the feet portion of the bed...
no luck?
okay, start vaccuuming the  house starting with the bedroom, look under the bed, on the tv, in your shoes, on top of the computer... grab a dust mop while yer searching... hell, you may as well clean the house while yer searching... even if you don't find it, you'll have a clean house.

PS  I always start cleaning house, and end up finding shit I lost 6 months ago.... ya never know!

LaTigresse -> RE: So Lost. Please help! (9/29/2006 3:30:31 PM)

I might be able to help by listing all the places I have found mine.

In a drawer in the kitchen. In the laundry room. In the laundry basket. Under the dining room table(dogs lair). In the pantry on the floor (dogs lair) and on a shelf. On a dresser in one of the bedrooms (it was for the livingroom tv). In the bathroom. On top of the fridge. Under papers in multiple places. In bed covers. Under the bed. By the stove, over the sink, on the microwave, in the kitchen. In the garage.

I am leaving out the places others have thought of.

When my kids were younger, I'd offer $1.00 to the first one who would find the remote when it was lost.  It would miraculously re-appear within 5 minutes every time!

I wonder if I'm the only one thinking these were very smart kids who figured out a nice money making scheme here....[;)]

Aileen68 -> Meatcleaver...don't read this. (10/1/2006 9:26:57 AM)

And my remote is still lost.  Think it's day three.  I'm going through withdrawal.  My house is getting incredibly clean though, in the hunt.

look in the car.

sonny2000 -> RE: Meatcleaver...don't read this. (10/1/2006 1:33:11 PM)

I once suggested somone attach a cord from the TV or chair to the remote
They drilled a hole damaging the circuit board. We could all use the exercize anyway

WyrdRich -> RE: Meatcleaver...don't read this. (10/1/2006 1:41:19 PM)

       Have you turned the couch completely upside down?  Checked the pockets of all the coats/jackets?

gooddogbenji -> RE: Meatcleaver...don't read this. (10/1/2006 1:50:41 PM)

Do like I do: Break into the neighbour's house, steal his remote, find out it doesn't work with your TV, switch TVs, and tadaaaaa!  You have a working remote.

Which is probably what your neighbour did to you when he lost his.......

Yours,

benji

It's still lost.
I'm keeping this thread going just because I know it's annoying some people.
I'm in that kind of mood.
