i consider myself to be a foodie, which is different than a conesiour. there are certain types of food i refuse to eat, which is why i downgrade myself to a foodie. i love going to resturants, new and old. i love the new atmosphere, music, the way the presentations of the menu look like, the aroma, the food, the way it taste and is presented, the drinks, the little things..i just love trying new ones out and returning to good ol ones. my favorite new place to eat is a resturant in houston called The Hobbit Cafe. here is a small synopsis of them from aol city guide since the resturant doesn't have a website: "Like a sleepy woodland cottage, Hobbit Cafe is nestled among the branchs of a huge oak tree. Wooden furnishings and earth tones warm the modest interior, where maps of Middle Earth and 'Lord of the Rings' artwork enliven the walls. The low ceiling, candles and small dining rooms give this cozy cafe a true Hobbit feel. Hobbit Cafe serves health-conscious, hippie food for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Hobbit is best known for specialty sandwiches, such as, Bilbo The Magnificent (guacamole, tomato, cucumber and sprouts) and Thorin Oakenshield (Tabouli and mushrooms under melted cheese), which are served on thick slices of homemade wheat bread with shredded carrots on the side. The kitchen also offers wraps, half-pound buffalo burgers and Jamaican jerk chicken, as well as daily vegetarian and vegan specials. Drink choices include fresh fruit and honey smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and a fine assortment of wines and beers" on a side humorous note, when i go to the aol city guide and search for vegetarian resturants in houston, the first two that comeup is chuck e. cheese's.
