Sigh...confusion really sucks

Sigh...confusion really sucks - 10/3/2006 6:21:26 PM

Status: offline 		Ok, I just need a sounding board is all.
 
Confusion sucks, big time. Yes, I am so confused lately as to who I am that I feel as if I am in spin cycle that has no end.
 
I took the plunge. And found out that love really is not all that bad. And yet. I feel as if it is ripping me apart. I DONT LIKE IT. Darn it. In fact, I am coming to the conclusion that if this is what love feels like, then dayumit, I don't think I want any part of it.
 
And yet, I find myself unable to walk away from something that draws me so strongly. I never believed in the saying that the heart feels each tug; and yet, here I am, feeling the pull so hard that it actually HURTS.
 
Falling in love sucks big time.
 
Don't mind me. I am just rambling. Lost once again  I really hate this feeling.

I dont know. I honestly do not know. I thought I had everything cut and dried within my life. I had things a certain way, and they were going to stay that way. Right now, the ups are following the downs on a even toll.

But to put love and relationships in perspective.  Life has ups and downs, so do relationships.  Not everything in life is easy, not everything makes us feel good all of the time, but that doesn't mean there isn't something of value in these things.

Status: offline 		Love is by far the SCARIEST thing I have ever encountered.  One of the best, and most enjoyable, but it still scares the hell out of me. Get used to that, until you are settled in a relationship you are absolutely positive of (and even then it still hapens... ) you will always have that little gnawing fear.

Yes, but I spent 5 years making sure that I never had that little gnawing fear. Still trying to figure out how the fuck I messed that up.

Good question!   Love only bites if it is unrequited, in which case, find someone to slap you out of it, because it is in my opinion, a huge waste of time, energy and personal integrity...
Otherwise, I love the crazy/sick, uncomfortable, out of control feeling.   I love the intensity myself.   M

I think that I am having such a hard time because I have spent so much time making sure that I AM NEVER out of control in that sense. And yet, now I find myself unable to maintain control. 5 years of making sure that no one could get close only to have all the defenses blown away . I am still trying to figure it out.

Maybe I just need to go back to analyzing everything. At least then I had answers.

Oh god, I don't like this feeling though. I really dont. That is what is making me so...unstable. And I absolutly HATE feeling this way.
