Status: offline 		For the longest time, I shaved because I thought that my Master preferred it that way.  One time, He surprised me with an unexpected visit and I told Him that I was sorry for the stubble and asked if He could wait for me to shave it for Him.  He then told me that He thought that I preferred it that way, but He didn't.  He actually prefers that I keep it trimmed very neatly, just not shaved.  When I asked Him why, He said that He likes that I am a "true" redhead and the carpet matches the drapes so to speak.    He also likes that He has something to pull down there if He's got a little sadistic streak going and wants to get my attention.

this slave has been made aware of three different perspectives on this issue.
 
1.  the Dom wants "nothing hidden" and shaving "exposes" the pussy.
 
2.  the Dom prefers smoothness of skin everywhere, underarms, legs, pussy, face, etc.

It's a function of age. A long time ago, in a "lifestyle" far far away; shaving wasn't as much a fashion statement as it is today. Shaving was a distinguishing trait. I remember requiring shaving and feeling good when my submissive said she was stared at by other women in the gym because of her shaved pussy. It seems nowadays the unshaved woman gets the stares.

Some things change, I didn't. I prefer it. I wanted my sub, and now my slave to sense my authority over her body even when I wasn't in her company, with a physical reference. Status: offline 		I would agree with your observations. I know one Dom who prefers the natural look because he wants a "woman, not a little girl". There is also a Domme I know who prefers the natural look because it's so different these days. She likes the unique look of it.

Status: offline 		One of the reasons I asked about this is that after 5 years of trying and getting nothing but broken out, ingrown hairs, and infections, countless "Nothing else worked for me" products, exfoliation, post shaving products, shaving techniques etc.  I  Tried depilatories, waxing etc. the depilatories gave me a rash, the waxes left me with hard little spots and hairs not coming in.  I finally made shaving a hard limit for me.

It seems since then when I'm talking with someone the shaving thing almost always comes up.  The fact that I won't shave seems to be a total deal killer for some doms.  Its a weeding out device for us both I guess.  I can't for the life of me figure out what someone would find attractive about pustules.

As some have said, a neatly trimmed area is a good compromise. And have you looked into laser treatments? Or, do as you now do, maintain it as a limit, there are men that won't mind.

Status: offline 		To say the least, i rather liked the feel of very low trimmed.  Almost downy and fun to the fingers but freshly shaved, dried and oiled almost begs for play at times.

Status: offline 		I like to be shaved, why? Many reasons, it makes me feel clean there. Also, I discovered it makes foreplay and oral a hell of alot more fun. It really makes a big difference. Try it some time. Go all natural for a couple of weeks, and then shave it all off. As far as trimming, I'm a bigger woman ah I couldn't picture myself easily sitting by a mirror with a small scisors trying to trim my hair, while attempting to push my boobs out of the way every few seconds.

Oh, and pubic hair getting pulled out to me hurts bad, and not in a good way.

Status: offline 		Err...there are a number of things that can be done to a shaved mound which are not practical for a hairy or even fuzzy one.  And shaving increases sensation--the hair over the skin is a shield to the nerve endings, if you leave it unshaved.  A spank, a stroke, a feather touch, a drip of wax, a fur-lined glove can all be felt more keenly on bare skin--not to mention a cool breeze.

Also, quite frankly, some people enjoy oral play, and don't enjoy having hairs on their sub any more than they'd enjoy having hairs in their food at a restaurant.  I personally want a malesub to do regular manscaping, at least to keep it trimmed to a quarter-inch or less.  That's my property, I want the lawn mowed.  ;)
