Iam a old-school (and a ___monger) so it doesn't really matter to me. I like my men trimmed, and my women shaved.  I don't much care for pubic hair at all.  I started shaving all the time a little over a year ago, and when I wasn't with someone, I would still have to shave it, or it didn't seem right to me.
 
When Master and I have talked of me being with a woman, I told him that was a bit requirment for me, that she be shaved, I just can't go down there otherwise.  I know it's not just for women I feel this way though, I have had hair stuck in my teeth and throat from my fair share of men also.  It's pretty yucky to choke on it, either way.

Really... I've been "bald" for ten years and I've grown to like it! Of course, I went thru electrolyis, which is a bitch in itself.  My current Master loves the condition, and that's all that matters.

For me trimmed is one thing.  I don't mind it very short.  Even what used to be called "outlining clippers"  where its about a day stubble in length is ok.  Its only the complete attempt at removal that causes the problems I've had.

I truly enjoy eating and the hair detracts a great deal from that pleasure not to mention that in my opinion it isn't kept as clean. The aestetics are nice too and I do the "over feminization" thing, and she craves it too.

Well, I think every sub is different, and that your particular difficulties should be held in consideration by any intelligent dom.  You are unable to shave; many subs have small areas where they are unable to serve without pain or injury, especially if they have problems with the knees, spine, etc..  They are still excellent subs and a smart dom will work around the issue, so long as he/she is forewarned.

Perhaps if you told potential doms "I am unable to shave, due to a difficulty with my skin, but I will keep the fuzz in that area as extremely short as I can to please you", they would be more understanding?  I know I would be.

What I have experienced is either men who don't care one way or the other or men who seem to be affronted that you would deny them the "smooth" shaven thing.  More often its the affronted thing.  Mostly they don't care about why its just that they aren't getting what they want.  I will however, guarantee that if they had put up with what I have they would have made it a limit far before I did.

After awhile you just get tired of it.  Its like a stuck record "and of course you will be clean shaven."

Personally i hate shaving or waxing.  It takes time and that annoys me.  However my Dom does like clean shaven and so it shall be.  I have also learned a valuable lesson about the time thing.  To shave for Him allows me time to think of Him and to know that He will be pleased with me for having followed His wishes.  Please note is said He likes clean shaven not that He has ever ordered it to be so.  Is my way of telling Him in a small way that i wish to please and serve and that no detail is too small to note.  OMG sounds pompus but is not meant that way!

It is just a personal preference.. not motivated for any specific reason.. but motivated by various reasons all of which in of it self would hardly be significant.  But, the volume of motivating factors provide the critical mass to make it a personal preference.

Part of it is about control,  some of it is about the touch factor, and there is the added aspect of the smooth feel of it as I penatrate. Many aspect here, to ponder. I know that for me I have compromised and aggred to ,that it be shaved , from  the clit down...  As to the OP's problem  with maintaining, have you tryed theses new micro trimmers? its almost as smooth as if you shaved , yet no skin irritations.

I like it bald, wether 'it' is a man or a woman.  My lifestyle subs are expected to shave everything but their heads, wether they're male or female.  I don't like hair, and I work my subs hard enough that they sweat, alot, sweat & hair = yuck.

I'm not sure some people appreciate what kind of trouble it can cause particular people. Personally, I shave because my Daddy tells me to.
 
A little off topic...Last week I won a bet with my Daddy, and He had to shave His package. 2 days later He's wincing when making any movements near the area. As much as I hate to see Him unhappy, I was howling with glee!! At last, He understands and will give me some leniency.

I prefer a woman shaved or at least neatly trimmed. My ex started me shaving after she started and now I prefer myself shaved. Everything feels much better and it seems to be cleaner also ...or so it seems???

The answer to that varies somewhat from dominant to dominant, depending on their outlook and perspective.  I have a female dominant friend who likes the male submissives she plays with to shave because it makes everything look cleaner and bigger.  The same dominant does not like her female submissives to shave because she likes the softness of the hair.  I myself like it for various reasons.

Yes again.  The reasons can vary from a perception of cleanliness to size to playing into a certain type of look (innocent girl/boy), etc.  Several reasons fit for me personally.

As an aside...I've found that I like to experiment with the look...fully shaven vs. partially shaven with a design.  But...that's me.

I believe most Dommes/Doms. do it to remind the submissive of their submission to that Domme/Dom.;they feel their clothes rubbing them much more than if they weren't shaved and this acts as a reminder of their status.

All different reasons, and it depends on the pussy in question.  Some pussies look better shaved, and some don't.  Some look better trimmed.  Some look better downright hairy.  If you're gonna own a pussy, you may as well go for the look that pleases you.

Also, having a slave trim, shave, or wax her pussy can have strong psychological force.  That too depends on the person, but for some people, being forced to shave themselves regularly is a way of reinforcing that they are owned by someone else.

for me personally it is not such a big thing, I do like it better when it is shaved so that I am not eating a lot of hair, but it is not a necessity or a Dominant thing.  Now my wife is very different, she loves shaved pussy and she loves to shave it. For her the interaction between her and the submissive while she is shaving her is very sensual and erotic and it is her way of showing that she is in control. I just get to enjoy the results.
