i'm no dom but i think it's not just restricted to doms and is more of a social thing. nowadays women that don't shave are not as attractive to most guys in our society than ones that shave i belive. i think it's also reflected in our thoughts here as most people posted they feel that if it's shaved it's somehow cleaner than it is with hair, when in my viewpoint clean refers to if you wash it or not..and has nothing to do with hair or no hair. i belive some of it can also be attributed to the way it seems our society as a whole is trying to steem away from nature and things that are 'uncivilized' and progress towards science, buildings, and a society that is focused on being overly clean in my opinion.

and of course there are always those that just plain like the way it looks.

i personally belive we were all born with what we have for a reason. if we were meant to not have hair we wouldn't be born with it. and i personally also belive were not prepubecent anymore and we shouldn't want to go back to that time in their life. but of course the main thing is to each their own. :)

Definatly a requirment!!!
1.- Can actually see the pussy and inspect it for health reasons... any kind of iritation is immidiatly visible.
2.- Can see when its swollen and visibly tell better where the womans head is at without touching
3.- ORAL--ORAL--ORAL.  Its much nicer to suck on the outer lips when they are shaved!!! No hair to get caught in.
4.- Odor.  I love the smell of a good ripe pussy but the difference between that freshly wet smell and then been all day at the

In my mind, it's a sign of submission, and I require it of any woman who is going to sub to me.

On the other hand, if a woman is not going to sub, it's irrelevant. My wife is not my sub, and she doesn't trim her public hair. If she did, I would probably think it looked weird.

One clarification to the first statement though: I 'require' it only if it's an EFFECTIVE sign of submission. I've had subs complain that shaving or waxing only leaves them feeling physically uncomfortable and not remotely submissive, and I've given them waivers.

Jesskitty nailed it.  This isn't some deviant activity only related to cosa nostra.  I bet 90% of the 18-35 crowd are shaven.  It's a fad... Like beards, mullets and sideburns.

I'd guess its a matter of personal preference.  Personally I've always preferred the shaved pussy look, I think it just looks neater and cleaner and more attractive.  So I've been shaving my pussy since I was about 16, it just always made sense to me.  I'd shave whether I was with my owner or not.  He tends to prefer it shaved since with the rings I have it just looks nice.

I'm not a submissive, but I still don't let the grass grow on the mound.  But then again, my hair in general, but especially in that particular area, tends to be rather sparse.  To me, a bush is like a beard--if you can't grow a decent one, shave it.  Either thick, luxuriant, colorful, trimmed prettily--or nothing at all.
