Not even the ones with the H1B visas? Popeye was very thorough in explaining exactly how that works. Reguardless, we shouldn't allow any more legal immigrants over here because there are too many job shortages.

I DEFINATELY view 4 to 10 million illegals as gloom and doom. But whatever man. Pretty soon most of us will be reduced to serfs on the plantation...not to worry. Just like Mexico. You'll get your wish.

I'm against outsourcing too. If we want to build companies in other countries to expand, fine, as long as we keep the ones in the US open as well. That way we could help other countries without hurting our own.

fast reply You know most people here came from somewhere else, and eventually the children assimilated into the country at large... perhaps fully by the third generation, usually by the second. In California I have seen this process many many times. I know so many Mexican Americans that never learned Spanish... shocks I know, but it is true! I have to say that in my opinion this is not about immigration, it is about the politics of difference. It is fear and hysteria that they will "take over" as sissy so aptly (and honestly) put it. It is about race relations from my view, because the fear and total disregard for facts or even presenting of facts seems to me to be based upon buying into this ethnocntric and xenophobic thought process People do not get this upset over things unless it is a fear based thing

How can I not panic? Hun, I never expected "job security". I do not know who promised you any security in this life, but whoever they were, they were full of shit. Take what happiness you can, work for the betterment of all people, be kind and compassionate to others, and refuse to live in a fear based life... damn, none of us are getting out alive, enjoy it while you got it! And btw, I am looking for a job at this time, and I live in a state that has many more immigrants than your own... I am not afraid. I would not waste my life like that.

Its called being AWARE and informed. Pointing out and illustrating a problem for all to see is the first step in resolving it. Instead of hiding your head under a rock..or in a TV set. Close the borders.

Throw any Politician out who supports illegal immigration for starters..be it Democrat or Republican. EXPOSE what is actually happening at the border and make others aware of it. Turn in known illegal aliens to local law enforcement. Expose and criminally charge any corporation who knowingly hires an illegal alien. All schools must have valid proof who is legal and illegal attending the PUBLICLY funded schools. Much more can be done.

It is everywhere around me and I do not feel like you, so I cannot help but think that if you actually worked with these people, socialized with them, got to know them and what strong family values and strong work ethic they have as a people that you might not feel just a little less afraid of what they represent... I quit listening to things like Alex Jones because of this very reason, he promoted fear and nothing positive comes from that.

Actually, I'm surrounded by Puerto Ricans...mostly. I get along with them...and i do know that most of them are LEGAL...so I'm cool with that. Ive asked some of them what they think of ILLEGAL immigration.....a lot of them don't like the idea either. See...AGAIN...you are making this a RACIAL issue..when it has nothing to do with it. It has to do with the RULE OF LAW.
