The Ravens game is on in my market.  KC looks bad, turnovers are killing 'em.

SlaveAkasha -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/10/2006 1:10:43 PM)

I must hang my head in shame, the Colts did awful..ugh!!!  I can only hope that my Packers will pull my NFL hopes for the day out of the gutter.

I'm counting on you, my man Favre.

Vince Young does it again: Titans 26-20 over Houston in OT. If he had stayed at Texas, we might not be talking about Ohio St or Troy Smith.

Miami shuts out the Patriots 21-0

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/10/2006 1:22:52 PM)

What happened to the Pats today?  I didn't expect that.  The Colts would be fine if/when they learn how to defend against the run.  Until then they are fresh meat for teams who can run.  Vince Young isn't my fav, but good for him in sticking it to the team who passed over him.

Like I said earlier in the season, I don't think our record really shows our caliber of play. Meaning that we have a decent W-L record, but we aren't playing like a winning team. Miami always plays us tough and we rarely win in Miami.

Did anyone watch the game? Jason Taylor was a beast. The media was making fun of Belichick all week cuz he kept saying Taylor was one of the best if not the best D men in the NFL. I have only seen three Dolphins games, but that guy can make plays. I would love to have him on my team.

I wasn't as suprised that Indy lost as to the score, they took a beating. Indy tends to crash on the home stretch of the season.
We aren't getting the Jets game up here, which I would be glued to the TV if it was on. LAMS Jets are in pretty good position to take the AFC East with a win today. The rest of their schedule is a bit easier than the Pats and they are playing much better football. But as they say..... any given Sunday. [;)]

Anyone putting Jason Taylor down is someone who's opinions I wouldn't trust; he's a very likely Hall of Famer.

Hang in there mb, the Pats ain't done yet [;)].

Buffalo 14, Jets 10.

Jets win today, they'll be one game behind the Pats.

Nope, couldn't get your game here.

Watching the Chargers march all over the Broncos here.

Watching the same one here, it's a blowout. Those Chargers are some tough old socks.

It's a close game now - 8 points.

It's starting to look like a game now ! Denver only down by 8.

Ladamian Tomlinson just tied Shaun Alexander's record for most TDs in a season, as the Bolts take a commanding 41-20 lead.

Akasha's Pack beat the 49ers 30-19.

Arizona beat Seattle 27-21, Bills over the Jets 31-13.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/10/2006 4:16:08 PM)

Scratch that, Tomlinson just broke the record, with 29 touchdowns, I believe.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/10/2006 4:19:08 PM)

Yep, 29, wow!
