3.  Jacksonville sucks on the road.

Well, their defense played great by holding Tennessee to only 98 net yards and their offense rolled up almost 400. They just had a little problem with turnovers and letting 3 of them go for over 60 yard touchdowns.

Their offense needs a little practice in tackling.

Level - Your boy (Romo) got picked for the pro bowl, Brees is the starter for nfc.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 5:10:34 PM)

Yes, a bit surprising, but good. [:)] And we got in LB DeMarcus Ware, safety Roy Williams, and a punter *laughs*.

Let's see, four Steelers were picked as well (guard Alan Faneca, RB Willie Parker, nose tackle Casey Hampton, and safety Troy Polamalu).

mbmbn has DE Richard Seymour, the Texans got in WR Andre Johnson, and the Chargers led with nine players, I think.

The announcers the other day were saying it would be criminal if Terrance Newman didn't get selected. I guess he needs some stupid shoes, or maybe to talk more smack ... maybe do a few interviews where he tells everyone how good he is. [;)][;)]

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 5:28:47 PM)

Speaking of shoes, did you catch ocho cinque's shoes (MNF)?  They rocked, they were ugly as sin, but cool.  He got fined.

Newman, after a sucky 2nd season, has settled into being a very good CB, but I think Deion Sanders broke the "I am so good!" mold [:D].

Who do you mean, Chad Johnson? He's almost as bad as Owens.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 5:36:41 PM)

Yes, maybe I didn't spell it right.  He said there is no more #85, only ocho cinque.  I like him.  I don't think he's as arrogant as TO.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 5:44:12 PM)

I dunno, a couple of years ago he had a list of every CB that he was to face during the season, and he'd mock the ones he torched, and talk shit about the ones he had to face next [8D].

And let's not forget the chicken dance..... [sm=mrpuffy.gif]

Well yeah, he's toned that stuff down.  A bit.

He's still young ... give him time. [;)]

I'm sorry ... wearing shoes with pictures of yourself making good plays ... is G.H.A.Y.

Well, those Bengals uniforms are pathetic.  The shoes can't make 'em any worse.  [:D]  The Bengals have the ugliest uniforms in the NFL.  Seriously.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 6:05:19 PM)

Yes, they are the ugliest, but I liked these:

Now, this raises a question: who has the sharpest uniforms??

Lordandmaster -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 6:40:07 PM)

Cute that the only player on the Jets to make it was kick returner Justin Miller.  And they're probably going to the playoffs.  The Chiefs had five players named (none on defense...), and they're not going anywhere.

I guess that means your coach should win coach of the year.

Lordandmaster -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/19/2006 6:53:47 PM)

Him or Sean Payton, yes.  It's a tough call, but in the end I'd vote for Mangini (laughing...if I had a vote); Payton has some real stars on offense and Mangini has a bunch of mediocrities who are playing way above their heads on both sides of the ball.
