ND didn't belong in that game.

Agree. Out classed. Out gunned. Massively manhandled. Fun to watch tho.

Only if you love Alabama or hate ND. Blowouts suck for the rest of us.

I agree. I settled in with a cocktail hoping it would be a good game. An hour later I was watching 'Cops' reruns.

Before the playoffs started I had DEN v. SEA in the Super Bowl. Who are you picking?

Although DEN is listed at a 10 pt favorite over BAL, BAL could surprise and pull an upset. BAL has a reconfigured-improved OL and a revitalized running game.

Anquan Boldin, Ed Reed, and Ray Lewis are all on a mission. Peyton Manning is not as effective outdoors in cold weather.

SEA to me is just a very complete team and I think ATL will have trouble getting SEA off the field.

I see NE as a heavy favorite and GB-SF as a toss up.

If Green Bay and Seattle both win this weekend. The Seahawks will then visit Lambeau Field. The Packers get even for the Monday night ref screwup game..

Poor quality control at cnnsi.com/nfl: I was reviewing the Broncos-Ravens game from earlier in the regular season. Here it is.

The Ravens' scores didn't add up: they were shown as having gotten two FGs and two TDs (20 pts), but the final score showed one FG and two TDs (17 pts). I checked the Box Score, and saw that they only were assigned one FG and one TD (10 pts).

Hmmmph.

I think the SB is going to be NE versus whoever wins the GB/SF game. I would really love a GB/NE Super Bowl. I think that would be a fun game to watch. It is going to hella suck to be an Atlanta Falcons fan if they drop that game tomorrow to the Seahawks which I consider a serious possibility. The Falcons are 13-3 on paper but I don't feel they are a 13-3 team on the field.

The Broncos season ends on a Manning interception. Very poetic. Great quarterback but I tired early of the whole Peyton Manning show this season.

Its too bad we don't have Domiguy to kick around anymore. Kaepernick wiped out GB and Domi's prediction of multiple cheesehead superbowls is not coming to fruition.

Wow. I watched four quarters of the Broncos - Ravens game.

Awful.

The Broncos were less hungry than the Ravens. The outstanding Broncos defense never showed up. They committed penalties all over. They never even tried to get a last second drive in regulation. Even if they had won that game, there's no way that Broncos team could stand up to the Pats.

The best/worst part of everything about the playoffs is the reinvention of Ray Lewis. And the seemingly short memories of almost everyone regarding the (alleged) double-murders and subsequent payoffs to families of the victims.

I didn't understand that call. At halftime, sure. Run the clock out, go to the locker room and regroup. You already know who is is kicking off. I didn't see the post game press conferences but I would like to have seen the coach's explanation of that.

vince the 49's played a wonderful game but they are too erratic to win it all I'm afraid…Of late you just never know which team is going to show up… They lost , of all teams, to the Rams twice…will in the tie they were outplayed anyway…And a team the Rams beat once and one pass away from beating again the Seahawks, slaughtered them the last time they played.
There is something missing that I can't put my finger on...other than jealousy.

Butch

John Fox suxks as a coach. Could you believe he ran it in the 4th on 3rd and 7. Mind blowing. Denver gave up big plays all day and with 30 seconds right after they failed to run it on 3rd and 7. Even after after they scored Denver still had 30 seconds to kick a FG but instead took a knee I couldnt believe it. Really bad coaching. Its the playoffs you have to take chances.

Trust me everyone hasn't forgotten Lewis' murderous behavior.
