Lewis either stabbed at least one of the men or knew who did.

You may be right, you may be wrong. This is speculation on your part. The police and the prosecutors, with a lot of incentive, could not make a case out of it.

If I was going to speculate, I'd say Lewis was there, did not himself stab anyone, and then kept silent about what happened under the 5th Amendment. I think its doubtful he even saw what happened and likely he was trying to get others to calm down, but away from the actual stabbings, he could not stop them.

He was in the wrong place, with the wrong friends, at the wrong time.

Here is my prediction.

Some team will win, one will lose, and the halftime show will be watched in the hopes of a wardrobe malfunction.

Oh, and a shitload of companies will spend a fortune on commercials during the game.

Hiya Popeye!!!

I am celebrating the win of the BALTIMORE RAVENS, after they kicked New England's butts all over the field!!

I loved the look on Tom Brady's face after he walked off the field!!!
lol

I am a Redskins fans, but as a second choice I will always stand by Baltimore!!

Those of us in the DMV have had a great year for football!
As a woman that lived most of my life in Maryland, I must say-----

CONGRATULATIONS to the Baltimore Ravens, are you ready to go to the big dance?????

It's wonderful to have TEAMS that played in January!!

Tom Brady can you say "Joe Flaco"?????

It's time for the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wiping a tear, if my Redskins can't go to the dance, I want the Ravens to win it all.

Now we are getting the commercials announcing the potential commercials that will air during the Super Bowl.

Did anyone catch that glimpse of Jerry Jones in a booth? Perhaps scouting for a few trades?

Packers got beat by the 49ers.. I'm pulling for them. Don't really care now that New England is done. It's a nice feeling, kind of like when the Yankees lose..

Katylied is probably very pissed off about the Ravens making the Super Bowl.

All I can say is YES!!!

Now we just need the national odds makers to tag the Ravens as a nine (9) point underdog v. SF as they did vs. DEN and NE.

If the real SF defense shows up, Baltimore is in trouble.

I am more worried about the Read-Option offense. SF gave up 31 and 24 PTS so far in the playoffs. No one has been able to stop Anquan Boldin, who has been on a mission. This will be Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs 1st Super Bowl.

In 1980, the average player's salary was $78,657

Today the average salary is $1.9 million

Sorry to say, these guys are playing for the money, not the love of the game.

Who gives a crap?
You really are a kill joy, I almost hate to read what you have to say these days.
Go spread your negativity elsewhere.

No one has ever played football or professional sports for free.

Go Baltimore Ravens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care much for either team, but I like SF's Justin Smith, so that's who I'm pulling for.

Flacco is hot, hot, hot.

And if he wasn't half my age, I'd be camped out at the training center door.

Maybe he likes older women? Hell, I'm 48, and I wouldn't let that stop me from chasing the cheerleaders.... I just hope they can't run very fast...

Didnt mean to be a killjoy, just stating an opinion.

Rocky Blier who played for the Steelers lost part of his foot in Vietnam, first he was told he would never walk again, he beat the odds and walked, then ran.

Then the VA doctors told him he would never play pro football, a year later he was back on the field.

His last season he made $23000 dollars.

He could have taken Veterans Disability, he wanted to play football because he loved the game. It was the only thing he ever wanted to do.

I am not saying that the players should play for free, I just think the salaries paid to all pro athletes are getting way out of hand.

Most kids playing high school and college ball are looking to go to the NFL and get rich, and very few of them actually get degrees in anything that will carry them when they no longer can play, and most players spend their money as fast as they get it.

When they cannot play anymore, the are stuck with a very piss poor retirement when compared to the business world.

There is a former cowboys player living in my town, nice guy, suffers chronic knee pain. His job is managing a fucking car wash for just over $26000 a year.

Now where should the money be, on the front end or on the years after playing?

These are mutually exclusive? You can't get paid for doing what you love?

Listen to any good player or ex-player talk. You can't get paid the money if you're not emotionally invested. You simply will be unable to play with the intensity and focus needed if you only want to get paid.

As far as the Super Bowl goes...I'm not a fan of either team, but I'll take the 49ers in this one. I love what Jim Harbaugh's done for SF, and I loved Kaepernick coming out of college (and I'm not a Nevada fan either).
