Boomer Esiason on CBS said they got the call right.
So did the VP of officiating all on CBS's halftime show
So I guess the rule was interpreted correctly [:)]

Damn... Denver fans are asses...what cry babies. Here their team has played their hearts out for the last two years and they are booing them. Fair weather fans don't deserve a good team... They should watch a Rams game to see real fans.

Thats not the way the review ref saw it,the call of the ball moving upon contact with the ground is contingent on them not seeing the "football move " that you describe taking place.
So while you may feel that way,the final arbiter disagreed with you completley and specifically .

You have an astute command of the obvious. Doesn't change my opinion, or the opinion of many NFL players who also thought the call was bogus.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 4:45:12 PM)

Shit, all I did was repeat what was said
You choose to cling to an opinion that is wrong and was explained to you why, under the rules,it was wrong is your call.
Have at it [:)]

I agree with stef. He had control of the ball in his left hand and was extending it toward the goal line, like is done probably a hundred times every season. The fact that the "officials" didn't see it that way doesn't change the fact.

stef -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 5:13:23 PM)

You're wasting your breath, Mike is never wrong, even when he is parroting the opinions of other people who are wrong [;)]

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 5:20:30 PM)

Lol.....I'm wrong ,me and Boomer and the VP of officiating and the rule book ?
But stef has her opinion and thats that.
Double down on being wrong....I don't give a shit [:D]

sorry, forgot to add that you had "Igor" on your side too,lol
Write a letter.complain to the NFL,maybe on the strength of your combined opinions and years of experience the NFL will overturn the decision [:D]

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 5:29:10 PM)

Guy next to me watching the game said the call was KARMA for what happened in DETROIT.

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 5:34:01 PM)

An INCREDIBLE catch like that should be rewarded.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 5:34:44 PM)

I don't believe in karma, least not as it pertains to football.
Not Karma, not stef's opinion nor Igor's....he didn't maintain control through the ground.

Chuck Pagano can game plan. The Colts stuck it to the Ravens during the regular season, and Andrew Luck is looking frighteningly good.

You think it's time Peyton pulled the plug ?
Looks like his fastball is gone and whats left is a less than average arm .

For someone who doesn't give a shit, you sure do have a lot to say about it. Try not to take things so personally Mike, this isn't the first time you've been wrong and it certainly won't be the last [;)]

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 6:01:50 PM)

I'm not taking anything personally.....I'm wrong(as you keep repeating) yet the call, the refs, the review, the VP of officiating all agree with me and directly refute your bullshit...but none of that has stopped you from proclaiming yourself right.
Pretty much the definition of being an asshole,no ?

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 9:59:58 PM)

Just remember, Patriots fans are the most obnoxious in all of football.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/11/2015 10:06:42 PM)

The Broncos played very well at the start of the season, and poorly for the last three games. I suspect that Manning is recovering less quickly from the slings and arrows of outrageous football than he used to. No issue when he's fresh, but an increasing issue as the season wears on.

i expect that he will play well for the first eight or so games of the 2015 season, and then go downhill.

I wish he would step aside for Osweiler for a good part of each game, and keep himself fresher while at the same time letting Osweiler get some experience. Unfortunately, I don't see him stepping aside gracefully. I think he'll Favre it.

No Mike, calling someone an asshole because they have a different opinion than you sounds more like the definition of being an asshole.

It's just a game Mike, try not to take it so seriously.
