I haven't laughed during spanking, but there are times in sub-space when I find myself in a complete state of euphoria and I just start laughing - I can't help it, it's blissful there.  It's not a howling, slap your knee kinda laugh, but more of a drunken state, semi-conscious slurred kinda laugh.

that's quite common and normal, usually it just means they are getting a good endorphin rush and flying high.
I just take it as a compliment and keep going, unless I'm in the mood to tease them about it.

I tend to laugh when I am really nervous. Wether it just be an embaressing situation or I am tring something new or being pushed. It seams to releave the tension and alows me to relax and morefully experiance what ever is going on.

I will never forget the first time I met one of my best Domme friends...it was at a demo on flogging and she was one of the presenters. My friend who I went to the demo with knew her and how much I liked flogging so she aranged for me to experiance first hand. It was also my first time attending that particular group so I was in a room full of strangers. And nervous as hell. I started laughing hestarically could not stop. At that point the Domme in question walked up grabed my hair and ask what I thought was so funny and started to flog me harder which only made me laugh even harder. So again she walked up grabed my hair and asked what was so funny...I was laughing so hard I could not answer. My friend had to explain that I laugh when I get nervous. The Domme then reasured me and I got one hell of a flogging much to my pleasure. She then invited me and my friend to go out with her afterwards and we have been great friends ever since. And I still get the giggles when she introduces me to something new.

I dont think bishop has ever NOT laughed during a spanking.

I'm not sure why she laughs,it hurts,sort of...but its just amusing to her.

Sometimes I spank harder she laughs harder...I cant say its ever made Me mad,more determined maybe to get her to stop laughing.

I have never had anyone but her laugh.she must just have a tough ass...lol

I forget what the reason was, but the last time it happened - I think maybe I'd landed a really pissily poor blow - we ended up tickle fighting and belly laughing till our guts ached.

i recently did a public scene with a Domme who was very sadistic ,,,,, i was hurting quite a bit (blindfolded mind you) and i was reallllly focused on her ~~ She laughed because She was enjoying Herself  *grins, i was so focused on Her that i began laughing right along with her, although i hurt! ~~ it was a wonderfully painful and fun scene i shall never forget

She told me after the scene i responded so nicely, and squirmed, yelled and begged so sweetly, she could not help but enjoy and laugh ~~

Laughing is just my natural reaction to pain....i love that feeling when pain is so wonderfully mixed with pleasure that i cant help but to completely let down my guard and just ride out the pain in explosive fits of euphoria. My Daddy seems extremely amused when i do this and understands that its how i express myself. Its also a good way of telling how much pain i am in and where my heads at.

When i get the giggles it's for pretty much the same reason as kyra stated. It's how i process un-enjoyable pain up to the point that I'm in tears. 

I hate to cry, and do my best to rarely if ever do so, as i personally view it as a state of weakness. So instead i end up laffing.

I dislocated my hip once and laffed so hard i could hardly breath. hehe ok maybe i'm just wierd

Last time i had a fit of giggles during play was when we where playing with crops and paddles [:D]

My first Sub used to get the giggles when she went over the top regardless of how I took her there. The most uncontrollable was the moments after orgasm. The best part of that was to make it happen all over again while she had no control over it. *S*

I think giggles are just as much fun as yelps and "Fuck you....you Evil Fuck....Sir"s.  Sure, she may get extra swats, but hey, that seems to work for the both of us.

lmao!  this brought back a couple of memories!
Way back in the prehistoric times when Argent and I were "brand spanking new" we were playing in the company of only 2 other - VERY experienced couples.  I still had a lot os trouble when I was 'hurt' letting my reactions show for all to see that it excited me.  One of the other Doms had an interesting little very stingy flogger- drangon's tongue type thing he made and he let Argent borrow it.  I was laying face down over a table, butt up in the air and this new feeling STUNG like all get out and it scared me, turned me on, embarassed me .... but my reaction was to laugh ... which made Argent FURIOUS because he thought I was laughing AT HIM!!!! he thought I thought he was inept or something and he gave the toy back to the other Dom and sat and pouted and there was nothing I could do to explain my reaction because I didnt even understand it at the time.  Well we got over that one!

Years later at a group party i was on a StAndrew's cross and he was flogging away, doing a good job and I just went to 'sillyville', got the giggles and started to turn myn head and laugh and make silly comments to him.  Now, he knows me and he knows at times I can just get that way, almost like it is not under my control - some sort of pain-emotional reaction.  I am having a good time, I do not need to stop, but I am going to giggle laugh crack jokes.  So he just hit me more-harder.  A Dm came over and told us were were having way too mush fun and it was disturbing others!!!!  OK I know we have to respect everyone playing, but no one goes to a woman screeching her head off that her voice is like nails on a chalk board, so why was some laughing out of line?  and no I was not laughing hysterically or even really loudly!

So, anyway - yes i laugh at times, and it is another form of release for me, and it is good.

Sometimes I giggle sometimes I cry. Depends on the mood and the scene. People deal with emotions in different ways. If I am laughing then I usually get asked why. My answer is usually because it fucking hurts. [:D]

Dear patina, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
In spanking a submissive, slave or bottoms; I've had both men and women start laughing during flogging, canings, paddling, hand spanking and single tailing.
 
I enjoy it, as it is wonderful to see emotions escape without being a shamed of them.  It is the same with crying.  Sometimes emotions are plucked at the right moment as to cause a relation.
 
I will admit, some people have the most contagious laugh.  I'm trying to maintain myself and I start laughing also.  I at times, get a bit weepy when a slave starts to cry, especially through catharsis and all the pain rushes to the surface.
