Dominants, do you feel as though it is your responsibility to make a submissive happy?

No more so than I would be for any other person who I am close to... I affect their happiness - I am not responsible for their happiness.

We are not responsible for other people's happiness in that way. It is unhealthy.

A wise Canadian named Red Green once gave me a bit of advice that has served me well in life.

When faced with an issue to be solved, simply look at it with an open mind and think to yourself "How can duct tape solve this problem?"

Of course, he also had such things to say as "Spare the duct tape, spoil the job" which I suppose works with WIITWD.

Just me, etc.

To the OP....i agree with several of the previous posters....who use the words influence.....enhance......contribute...and agree  that one is ultimately responsible for their own state of mind.

i have no read all the replyes but here is my opinion. When you own somone you are respnsible for them being well, and hapiness is part of being well. So yes i would say an Ovner is alt least partly responsible for the happiness and wellbeing of his or her slave, and for Dom/sub relationships, that would wary from relationship to relationship and the nature of said relationship.

If you have to ask, then for you, the answer would be yes.

Open your mind, meditate on the question, and wait for a flash of consciousness to permeate your reality.

Glad I could be of assistance in your spiritual journey.

It's no good - I keep getting an operator asking me to deposit fifty cents for the next two minutes

Try calling from your home phone, assuming you can afford to pay your phone bill.
