I grew up skinny too. I was 6'0" in the sixth grade.I think I weighed 120lbs. I grew up in a working class neighborhood in the Boston, Mass area and most of the other kids were skinny too from walking everywhere and probably not getting enough to eat in those days. Also, we didn't sit around at computers or play video games after school. It'd be more like swinging off a "Tarzan" swing that we made with a long piece of heavy rope that someone "found" or running from the cops. I couldn't put on any weight to save my life. Lifted weights, played sports all of that stuff. And yes I'd be called "Stringbean", "Pole Boy", "Rail Rump" and all the other things that they call skinny people. I never really filled out until I got into the Navy and got "three hots" evey day. In my graduating class(1969) of 1,900 kids maybe three were overweight. Look at all the shit that the tabloids put that actress Calista Flockhart through a few years back. They were saying she had everything from Anerexia to Aids. But, they'd of course never say that that talk show host Opy? "OP" something or other ate too many pizzas or something like that! So yes, there is a double standard!

If you are referring to Orprah, where the heck were you when all the tabloids and tv bashed her for gaining any weight? How about when Janet Jackson gained weight, or Kirstie Alley??? These people are all in the spotlight, if they lose too much, or gain a pound or two, someone, somewhere grabs a camera and writes a story. I don't think it's fair to do it to either side. They are adults, if they eat too little, or eat too much.. whatever, it doesn't matter, they can make their own choices. If Calista is anorexic, then she is.. she is a big girl and has the money and resources to get help. If Oprah gains it, she has the same things to help. There will always be double standards, those that base things on looks, or race, whatever, it's existed since the beginning of time and will go on. Where do you get the idea anyone was flaming anyone? Where do you get the idea that ModEleven is giving unfair treatment? Where do you think it is necessary that they intervene? And why are you attacking them and their moderation style? I have never seen ModEleven be unfair?
