I do not know if they would use it or not but with a 4 bedroom house and just me, I could put up people passing through my area and it would be nice to know of life friendly bed and breakfasts.
As for in the U.S. I have had 1 or 2 say they might meet and stay here but from Europe and other countries, I have had numerous say they would take advantage of someplace to stay and someone new to meet.

With a move coming up, Id like the chance to get to know things about where I am heading. Preferably without pickup lines in every offer to show me the sights *laugh*
I realy do think the idea has potential if worked out properly. I migth even think about posting the idea myself now that i think about it more.

I think a travelers section would be great. We drive or ride every place we go and it would be awesome to be able to meet people in the lifestyle for dinner and great conversation along the way. No one night stands for us, not our thing, but the meeting with others would be great... putting faces to names and all that.

Maybe the purpose isn't a booty call. I've posted in positive experiences where I've traveled to a foreign country and have sought out the consult of local SM folks who have been more than gracious in showing me around, taking me to their local fetish clubs (great when you don't speak the native language) and even played host to me when I was on the road.

The contacts we make are not always about playing or getting laid! How about networking, learning from one another and knowing that you have a shared interest among folks?

Well, as a psychotic serial killer, I am all for knowing when single people will be alone and vulnerable in a strange place. Even better if they will follow directions to meet me in a place suitable for my vicious attacks - so much easier than dragging them kicking and screaming into the shadows if they go there in the first place of their own accord, you know?

As that I think demonstrates, it is just too damned dangerous as an easy way for some anonymous nutter to find a victim, without more to it than simply announcing where youre going and that you'll be alone and want to meet someone. There would have to be a lot more security applied to it IMO. I travel a lot in Europe for business, and get picked up at the airport by total strangers and driven off, spend time travelling around and meeting people I dont know - and all the time I'm thinking how potentially dangerous this is, even with having filed an itinerary with the office. How much more dangerous then, in a world in which most of us wish to conceal our preferences from others, and would therefore tend not to tell anyone that we're meeting a person whose name we dont really know to do something that others wouldnt understand?

SPARE CHANGE...well the only SPARE..that i need would be in BOWLING and you have what I need a new Ball...(without the ears of cource)...AND 4 THE MOST PART BOWLING IS NOT WHAT I LIKE TO DO BUT, JUST TO TRY YOU OUT ON THE PLANKS WOULD BE A REAL TRIP..(lol)

that's what i thought the guy was asking. i don't see why everyone immediatly thought hookup. i think it makes sense to list bdsm groups out of country or find some where you are if you want to go to a munch while your out of state to see how things are different from where you are. variety is the spice of life after all.

Theres something to what you both say. I myself want to travel and I am sure there are others like me who want to incorporate BDSM into their plans, but caution and waryness are advised. It can be an awfully dangerours world.
