I just want to draw your attention to the fact that lot of people in lifestyle travel across the globe for various reasons.during there stay in different countries.There they want to interact with local lifestylers interested in different desciplines.Just to synchronize all this,i feel there should have been a separate corner on this site where traveling people could post there ads and workout there meets as per their interests before hand.....what do you think?

Speaking solely for myself: not interested in BDSM booty calls from total strangers. At all. To me, it just sounds like a great way to get exposed to someone with a terrible disease or a serious intent to do others harm...and who is completely untraceable and completely impossible to hold accountable for their wrong-doing. --M

I think this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you to step up and do something for those interested in "lifestyle travel" by creating a website dedicated to them instead of expecting a site you've been a member of for all of 1 day to do it for you. For some reason i've received a number of the "i'm gonna be in your area" type e-mails. Perhaps it's because i live near to DC and 3 major airports, or something i'm not picking up on. When i reply, i simply tell them that's not what i'm looking for and give them the name and number of the local tour mobile company..lol... Oh, and that i hope they have fun... i keep it simple, short and polite. It's just easier all the way around. cheers jimini

When I lived in Phoenix, AZ, I cannot tel you how many emails I received that began with " I will be in Phoenix on business for a few days ....." I called them "traveling salesmen".

If you're looking to simply "hook up" whenever you happen to be in a city, try Adult Friend Finder. It's a nice site if you weed and I found the people there are much more open to one night stands. If you're looking for steady play partners, one or two each in a set of different cities, state such. There ARE people who are happier having casual poly relationships. Master Fire

What about the local clubs and groups? For example, here in the D.C. area we have Black Rose, the Crucible, and other groups and clubs of various styles and types. Yesterday at the 'play with someone new' there was a gentleman from Quebec, visiting the area on business. He seemed to enjoy Himself immensely just hanging out with like-minded people and seeing what was available in the area. i hope He comes to the Black Rose meeting on Tuesday, also, and He said He probably will. Why look for a casual encounter with a single person, when You can get to know the community where you are visiting? Many large cities have a very prominent BDSM community, and have a lot to teach and share. From them, You can learn new things that might not interest most of the people in Your home area, share Your experiences and learn from theirs, and have fun with "people like You." If You do a search for the city You are going to and the term "BDSM," You are likely to come across something that is in that area. Not interested in the local community? The local groups are still a good way to find out about the area, who is there, and who might be interested in playing with someone from out of town. Hope this helps, damia the Kat

Everyone seems to have lept to the random acts of sexual disease transfer aspect of this. Why does it have to be physical? Perhaps a "munch" section would be more appropriate or a where to go for a drink, option. For many travelling people it is the conversation over a pint or exchange of experience whilst having dinner that would be welcome. On two occasions people on CM have advised me where to go for a drink / evening and on both occasions I met friendly people and had a pleasent evening without anything approaching getting laid involved.

I would have to say that the number of "I am coming to your area" interests I get has turned me off to this idea as well. If you are looking for simply a playmate, then contact people in the area you plan on being and see if anyone is looking. However, one night stands, be they sexual or service, are not fulfilling enough for me to bother with. Even when I was single and looking, playdates that didnt even have a gaurantee I'd see the person again held little to no interest for me. Go it on your own, contact people where you will be heading and see if you can make arangements that way. Personally, when I travel, I dont have the burning need to play with someone random just because I am out and about. I just wait until I come home to my one and make up for lost time. I used to get those messages all the time from "Doms" traveling through Texas on business....lol. Though they have stopped somewhat now. I agree with Morrigel. By the way I love your posts. And this is supposed to be the 'open minded' community?? The original post stated nothing as per 'booty calls' and that seems to be a MAJOR leap made from the original post. Oh and by the way My husband happens to be one of those 'OUTSIDERS.' Though I prefer the term 'a Moroccan born man.' We/I also travel a great deal and I just returned to the US after 7 years living and traveling abroad. I am not happy to be back here involved in the American psyche as I watch it everywhere including within this community, though I am absolutely thrilled to be leaving again in 2 years! Please do not bother to attack what I have said unless you have lived abroad in several countries on several continents as then you would realize how socially inept we Americans are. No I am not new to CM, simply an ID change due to an asshole who would not leave me alone after a meet for friendship ONLY purposes who lives in my state. I have met many wonderful people who have come to town on business and ask for assistance on where to eat, get a coffee and still be able to smoke inside the place (yes, one left in Maine legally), or want simply to have that coffee with exchange of ideas only in mind. Good point Dtesmoac. If I have known someone for a long time, and it is just to meet for dinner, coffee and conversation. Not a problem. Also since that person would be a friend of mine, they would understand that I might not come to dinner alone. But am not meeting for a booty call....or a future booty call. [:)]
