I just read a profile that, among the rest, says this quote "I am looking for a gardener who would work for nothing" unquote

I was really wondering have any of you ever had a chance to meet men like this?

MsSimone -> RE: No Strings Housework (11/17/2006 9:32:47 AM)

No.

If u are talking about My profile it is there for 2 reasons:
1.  I'm looking for a gardener.
2.  It helps to weed out time wasters.

and btw there is paying (£) and payment in other forms/arrangments.  I am yet to meet someone who is trully no-strings as everyone gets somethiong from everything, otherwise we simply wouldn't engage.

VampX -> RE: No Strings Housework (11/17/2006 9:45:55 AM)

I don't know what exactly you mean by " for nothing" but, if it is about money saving, I have no objections...but, I'd rather have a gardener that I can lock up in my basement and...well, you know

yes, I actually read that in Your profile Ma'am...I didn't mean any disrespect, I was only inquiring as I couldn't see myself in such role, nothing else

I take it as no disrespect.  However, I prefer when people actually ask Me to clarify things if they don't understand what I mean.  Rather than talk on a forum where undoubtably people who do not know Me or My intentions will make, often wrong, speculation or judgement.
I try to be honest in My profile.  For some people it works, and for others it does not.

While I agree that no-strings housework does mean house work without any play in return, I think it is important to recognize that there has to be some motivation for one to offer housework and that motivation must be identified and addressed for the service relationship to last.

This is close to what I was thinking. Thinking that no strings means there is no price would be erroneous. No matter what words come out of someone's mouth, there has to be something (tangible or in-tangible) in it for them to continue to want to do something regularly.

next time, I'll make sure to do just that
I appologise again

Sometimes when I write/say things because I know what I am thinking (background, itnention, etc) I do not always see that it may be interpreted differently by someone else.  I have changed My profile slightly so hopefully it will be clearer to those who read it.

Again thank you for your interaction

I regard the writing positively baroque.  Online forum post are to express one's ideas in a timely fashion.  I dont know about you but when things are too long and wordy, I  pass them up.  Hey sea, hows about bottom lining this in 3 sentences or less pal?

i regard the writing positively Spartan. Online forum posts are to express one's ideas in a vivid fashion. I don't know about you, but when things are too short and terse i pass them up. Hey Denny, how's about expanding this to at LEAST three well-defined paragraphs, honey bunny?

The sentences or less? I have a feel our friend Denny doesn't do a lot of reading yet his profile claims he is intelligant. If you don't have the attention to read more then three sentences then really why should anyone bother with you?

you have WAY TOO much time on your hands

I would interpret this fact as meaning that she has way too little time in her daily life, and that she catches up on the forums when she gets the chance.

Yup

Yea  Gardening - theres an old myth surounding a Sumerian who was given a gardening gig for a Goddess.  He captured her heart through the task and she made him a King.  While that part might be fanciful it was related by the first writer who ever included her - yes her name in any literature.  She was  Enheduanna Preistess of Sin (Sin was the Sumerian name of  the quarter moon phase - the moon being a God.) Her father was that same King.  Things develop between gardeners and their Ladies in vanilla or more spicy relationship's - ask Lady Chaterlee.

Hello,

i've only just joined and wasn't planning on posting nearly so soon, but this thread caught my eye. On filling in the things associated with my profile this 'no-strings' question was there, it made me stop and think and i decided i liked the idea. Would i be happy to provide a no-strings service as defined in the first post of this thread to a Lady? Absolutely. 'But'...........would i be willing to travel several hundred miles or more just to scrub and clean for a couple of hours and then leave? No, it would have to be reasonably local and not cost me too much to get there, although i would do were it something deeper, so there is a practical element. i also wouldn't be happy to turn up and find i was serving some 'male submissive', although i could handle being a beta sub in a meaningful relationship...the point being, if one is asking for no-strings from a sub i fear less can be asked from them then if there was an actual exchange.
The second point, i am currently hoping to find a Mistress to take me under her wing, i 'need' a meaningful involvment in the FemDom lifestyle...so i wouldn't be content with a no-strings 'only' role in my life, so when i finally have my Mistress (or rather She has me) would She be happy for me to continue going off and doing some other Woman's cleaning or gardening or whatever, spending time on something that does not benefit Her, time that i could be spending lavishing on Her? No doubt, there may be one or two out there somewhere that may not mind, but i hazard the majority would not be happy with that at all and it would be put a stop to.
Turning things round a little on the debate, i can't help wondering may it sometimes not also happen the other way around, the no-strings domestic turning up, doing his work then on being about to leave the Lady pulls out some menacing impliments and tells him he's 'been a bad boy' and 'needs 'sorting out'....i'm sure it must have lol.

FLsubmalecd -> RE: No Strings Housework (11/29/2006 3:53:45 AM)

Hey! I think I am a pretty good submissive, a nice respectful guy...  Amd I  love to serve a deserving Domme.
But there are some catches... I have to like her, respect her, and trust her... at a minimum.
She has to at least be a friend or friendly.
She has to realize my service to her is a gift that I want to give with nothing more then her praise and sincere "thank you" for a job well done. So there is an exchange there.
My servitude in exchange for her genuine appreciation and thank you for my service.

To me, "No Strings" means that I do not expect her to play with me or have any kind of sexual exchange. But to at least be a friend and appreciative is not asking much. Of course this goes without saying since I do have ONE Domme that i serve...with strings. But of course if She ordered me, or asked me,  to serve any of Her sister Dommes, I'd serve them without question

I  BUT as far as gardening goes...well, I have a problem there. I don't have a green thumb!
See...even my plastic plants turn brown!

patrice3737 -> RE: No Strings Housework (12/3/2006 4:47:48 PM)

I want to thank Mistress Sassy for the kind words about my cleaning for Her, as well as allowing me to provide maid service in Her home. I am most grateful to Her for the understanding She shows me, as well as giving me lots of real cleaning and scrubbing to do! She is also great to have conversations with, and appears happy with my work - as long as i keep Her coffee cup filled. ~smile~
The service truly is the thing. i have been into this for a long time. Years ago i had a friend who ran a cleaning service. She was more than happy to allow me to clean condos, motel rooms, houses, as well as her own home. Of course i was not in my maid's uniform, but i enjoyed it just the same. Later i picked up a part time job for minium wage washing windows and bathrooms for a busy tourist cabin motel, turning over my pay to my Domme. Years before that i worked weekends as a chambermaid for a busy Florida motel.

When i arrive at someone's home to clean (or do any other non-sexual chores they want me to do), i have no idea what awaits me, i simply do whatever work they ask. As someone who enjoys crossdressing and uniforms, that is an enjoyable part of it, but if they ask me not to wear such clothing, i would comply and still perform the agreed upon duties. i don't really know why i enjoy being a servant, but for whatever reason i do. Housekeeping is the main thing i have been providing for people, as that is the thing people usually dislike the most. i do like any kind of service though. i would do yard work, washing, ironing, or errand running. i'd be happy to simply stand by quietly for hours against a wall, for no other reason as to be ready to fetch things, refill a drink or any other thing someone, who would have me into their home, may want.
i don't know if this is typical, but that is what i enjoy.

patrice

obedientslave1 -> RE: No Strings Housework (12/8/2006 5:22:28 PM)

I believe no-strings housework is just that. For me at least, as a male submissive, serving my mistress is reward enough. If she chooses to ignore me during my chores, that is her right. If she isn't there, again, her right. I feel I should do just as god, if not, better work to show her my devotion.

To me no strings means no strings.

mike

You have a very good point there.  I should probably post the same question there as here.
Thanks for the input, as I did not think of that.
