LadyPact -> RE: Memorable Movie Quotes (5/2/2007 4:10:45 PM)

It may not be a popular one, but from the movie when Harry Met Sally......

(after the faked orgasm in the deil)  "I'll have what she's having."

Another personal favorite from the same movie......

"Everyone thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor, but they can't all possibly have good taste and a sense of humor"

tricia -> RE: Memorable Movie Quotes (5/2/2007 4:50:57 PM)

This one is not popular, but it was memorable to me...

Harlan: There's no plot. It just goes on like that for an hour
Max Renn: Goes on like what?
Harlan: Torture, murder, mutilation...
Max Renn: They never leave the room?
Harlan: Nop... it's a real sick-o...
Max Renn: It's Brilliant!

Videodrome - by D. Cronenberg

One question about History of the World Part I. Was it just me, or did anyone else believe the teaser trailer for History of the World Part II, Jew's in Space...

I truly was waiting for that sequel to come out for years until my husband patted my head and said, "no honey..that was a spoof.."

One that I have always remembered came from a television series called CENTENNIAL

"he's a man that does not live by the rules of society; he makes his own; and yet, every life he has touched is the better for it. I can not imagine if he had not crossed my path"

ElizabethAnne -> RE: Memorable Movie Quotes (5/4/2007 6:29:10 AM)

John Travolta from Swordfish

If you have never seen  "Rivers Edge"...A classic!!!

Matt: The only reason you stay here is so you can fuck my mother and eat her food. MOTHERFUCKER. FOOD EATER!!!

Clarissa: I hear they're having an open-casket funeral for Jamie. I think that's in bad taste.
Tony: It is in bad taste. This whole episode is in bad taste. You young people are a disgrace to the human race. To all living things, to plants even. You shouldn't be seen in the same room with a cactus.

Breakfast At Tiffany's...

You musn't give your heart to a wild thing. The more you do, the stronger they get, until they're strong enough to run into the woods or fly into a tree. And then to a higher tree, and then to the sky.
