GentleLady -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/7/2005 6:33:34 PM)

There was one male submissive who wrote Me...and I told him I was not looking for a submissive and not interested. he continued to e-mail insisting that if I only met him I would see what a perfect submissive he was. Bottom line was him informing Me that I was obviously not a "real Dominant" because I refused to meet him real time.

I ended up pulling My profile from that site. Sometimes it backfires being polite.

nella -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/7/2005 7:38:26 PM)

I once got a mail from a Domina that wanted me to worship her, i politly wrote back and said no, as faras i knew she was a human being and i did not want to worship her, then she got werry angry.

MadameDahlia -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/7/2005 11:11:04 PM)

There's a brat on this site who contacted me and thought I was the cat's meow until he learned that I wanted a harem eventually - oh and that I wasn't rich and I wasn't going to buy him a plane ticket to California and I wasn't going to have him live in the lap of luxury.

After he learned all of that I became "... just a kid... " and of course "... not a real dominate" - arg.

The thing is....they don't OWE you anything at all. You chose to contact them; they didn't ask you to. They have no obligation to do anything at all, not even to read your email, and certainly not to spend their time writing back to you. There's nothing discourteous about deciding how/where to spend one's time. That's simply good time management.

SinTwister -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/8/2005 8:06:54 AM)

For all you know, those submissives could have thought you were rude. When I was single I considered anyone who hadn't bothered to read my profile or listen to my wishes to be rude. Why? Because you obviously A) couldn't take the time to even read a profile, which means you wouldn't take the time to get to know me, B) you didn't respect my wishes, therefore you wouldn't respect other things that were important to me.

The list of things that got you deleted:

1) You didn't meet the criteria in my profile. You were too old, too young, smoked, married, already had a sub, or weren't local.

2) You started the email off with "My Dear", "little one", Slut",
"baby", etc.

3) you described your penis

4) you asked what my limits were before anything else that's actually more pertinent.

5) you told me how our first meeting would go

6) you already met my best friend and you showed her your penis in a parking lot after having coffee at Starbucks

7) you had a prime interest in something that I consider to be a hard limit, such as young girls or animals

8) you forgot the golden rule, "I'm A submissive, but not YOUR submissive

9) that the email made it clear that you were more interested in WHAT I am (a sub), than WHO I am

I very quickly gave up emailing people with polite "no, thank you"s because so many took the opportunity to argue with me and tell me I was wrong. Which is amazing, considering they're complete strangers and have no clue about me.

So while you're whining about not getting responses and ranting about how you train your subs (keeping in mind that none of the women are your subs), you might to think how that email came off. Just because you didn't find it offensive, doesn't mean that someone wasn't offended by it.

Those that send me a polite mail, usualy get a polite mail back, but if somone send me a mail aboute *insert horribel luanguage here* what to do whit my body and calling me quite a varaity of unplesant things, then that mail vil usualy get deleted.

Alexander -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/8/2005 2:24:37 PM)

there are SOO many fakes and just plain desperate Doms and new Doms on this site I can barely imagine what it must be like sifting through them. And ive only been here a couple days! When I finally hit the search dominant california I thought, sheet, how is anyone going to find ME on here.

the first day was great, people said hello, got a lot of want to talk emails and then you could almost see or feel the hesitation in some of the letters. "Oh sh*t this guy actually does want to talk. Now what." On the other hand Im very impressed with many of the girls Ive met already. I just wonder if there isnt a lot of just testing the waters going on or girls looking for an email that sends shivers down their spine. I have yet to master that particular technique.

"Dear miss girl I want to own. please shiver noticeably. Reply with shiver at your earliest conveniance."

Alex.

Alex,

Recently yours was the first ad to load when I logged onto CM. I don't think you have to worry too much about getting traffic. In fact I said to my roommate "SherriA check this out." (SherriA is her handle here on cm - although she created a new name recently, nopinkballoons) Then I also noted your preferences (which end of the whip you prefer) and location and simply sighed and wished you well. Your picture, however, set my mind to evil deeds. Alas, no shivers.

Now I see you can write a coherent sentence, as well! That's like a bonus (and threatens to cause shivers). [;)]

Welcome to CM!

Dear Alex,

Do not dismay. I shivered enough for both of us ~grin~

Welcome to CM!

The guy who took that picture is getting a big birthday present.

Actually, I've bookmarked several of you. Which one of you looks best in red ribbon?

Alex.

I have a learning disability and it is a strugle for me. I try any way I tried to delete this post but could not. Could some be so kind and do this for me.

GrandpaLash -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/9/2005 5:35:01 PM)

Oh for Chrissakes, I don't care if this is a hijack. If I read dominate (verb) meaning Dominant (noun) one more time I'm going to throw up. And incidentally, Scorpio, you are just one of several even on this thread, so don't take it personally. And another by the way, ignorate (ignorant) isn't a word at all.

Yes, I'm the spelling Nazi, but if you can't put your case in understandable language, especially if you're seeking females, who generally have a far better grasp of language than men, then what hope have you?

Grandpa Lash

Tangwystal -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/9/2005 7:46:43 PM)

GrandpaLash,

I am with you on this one with one exception. If English is not the first language for the writer I don't let it bother me. If English is your first language there is no excuse.

Being contacted along with 99 other submissives..........wow, now that certainly would make me feel special.......*groan*

angelinbondage -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/10/2005 2:48:06 AM)

Gee, this makes all KINDS of sense. If a submissive does not answer your email, that does not mean she is fake; it simply means that she knows she is not community property and is not required to answer any and all emails that land in her inbox.

Exactly; you train YOUR subs to behave a certain way. The fact that you just criticized the training methods of other Doms and have yet again inferred that submissive women are obliged to bow to you just because you are a Dom has made it quite clear that you are not deserving of respect.

"Mass mailings" are just silly in my opinion, and quite obvious too, when I receive them.

A month or so ago, I got a very well written note from a submissive male. It was fairly articulate, and seemed to have taken time to write.

So, I went to look at his profile, and he had the exact same text there.
Lily...

I have received a standardized letter from 2 different subs (very well written) on 2 or 3 different occasions using same letter; I always wonder "are these people retarded?
I don't care if an email is short (saying I like your profile), I will tend to reply any courteous/honest approach; I definitely pass over obvious phonies and people with such bad memory they'd email same (at times not-applicable) email to me over and over. M

my personl take on this is that i would hope Doms have better memory concentrtion than us "girls" do. Thank God Master is better than i am, for sure! :)
but then recently, a bunch of emails disappeared from our sent and received folders and neither of us deleted them. so of course, re-writing them with deepest apologies was the only way.
i have email in my sent folder that has NEVER been read by "sister subs" and i have only welcomed chat within my sent email. (which leads me to post another thread).

my conclusion, we are human beings and we do as we want, in all of our lives. low expectations of others in a sad thing to accept, but maybe thisis what must be done. but that does NOT mean we must lower our own standards of high expectations for ourselves.

ruffnecksbabygir -> RE: RUDE submissives (2/10/2005 12:15:27 PM)

i personally get annoyed when a Dom would email me saying to email them back with a no thank you if i wasn't interested or else he will know i am rude....that would just make me not want to reply to his whinny ass period.
