Angel and I knew we loved one another based on our personalities before we had much of an idea of what one another looked like.  We'd seen one anotehrs profile pictures, but that was about it. Real life, he loks nothing like that picture anymore. I was rather pleasantly surprised (thought he was scared to death Id hate him) and he said my pictures dont do me justice.  Physcialy, we were attracted. But welll before we knew that, our perosnalities had clicked.

Have you noticed however that usually it is women who prefer personality over appearance?.......Tempting

Personality, although it is pleasant when someone attractive has a nice personality as well. I do not assume that just because someone is attractive they suck...smiles. I will say of the two attributes personality is way more important... I did not have to make a choice personally, my Daddy is handsome AND he has a great personality.

Chemistry!  And that is very individual.  It's physical and emotional and spiritual.  Don't you ever just get a jolt of that?  And you are riveted.

I tend to think that, when people are attracted to a certain type, they are unconsciously looking for someone specific, who is that type - either an individual they have known or one they are trying to find.  They may not yet know the person they're seeking, but their intuition is guiding them, with their urges.

I am just wondering what does it for you?  The way a person looks or their personallity?  I know looks help sure but if they are not  great looking but they have a great personallity can that offset it for you?

My Master said after talking to me by phone he would have wanted me even if  i was 800 lbs and looked like a troll i am not and do not. but he loves my personallity, and thinks i am pretty.  I liked his personallity too and would have wanted him anyway  he just happened to be very handsome also.
So what does it for you?

An ego, confidence, determination and respect are number one on my list. So personality comes first. If a man carries himself right and exudes confidence in himself and has a bit of that bad boy attitude I melt.

When i was youner and out on the pull ha ha it was looks becasue i wasnt plannin on sticking around longer than a few hours and was very shallow lol But now its definalty personality and the ability to make me smile loads that does it for me. Though im am quite happy that my boy has both looks and personality  but it was his persoanlity that drew me to him before his looks did.

This one is a bit like cake.  Something that looks pretty doesn't always taste nice. However, the lumpy odd looking one can often have great taste & lots of hidden texture.
Sometimes tho you can get a great looking and great tasting cake.  And sometimes that odd looking cake really is quite manky.
Also even tho I really like carrot cake, sometimes I just don't want it & would prefer at that point in time a crumpet for a change.

I'm shallow, eye candy is eye candy no doubt about that.  BUT.....  if it's to go beyond pleasuring just my view, that chemistry has to follow through with personality.  OMG, I just cant see myself ever submitting to some empty headed pretty boy and calling him Master.  That fairy tail just isnt gonna happen!

Personality is very important to me, but I also like a man with all his hair and front teeth, a job, and his own transportation. Believe it or not, I've actually been told my standards are too high lol. Looks or personality? I would have to say both.

i'll have to say that although looks play some role, the personality of my chosen One will rule out anything else, i need a real Man, not some emptyheaded bobbletoy, oh and a nice ass, the butt has to be a good one and not look like a frog wearing a pair of pants.

Exactly.  That's what gets catches my attention first, then physical attraction...but the most important is going to be personality.

i believe for me it is a bit of both, that completes the entire package, apealing to , and engaging all of my senses and not just a few, that is important  to me to have both my visual senses and emotional/spiritual energy and mind engaged and stimulated.  For the long term, it is definitely personality.  i have known some very good looking people, that looked ugly to me because of their ugly insides, and vice versa, the whole "beauty is in the eye of the beholder thang" applies.

i can't put my finger on it.  it has something to do with how they make me smile and how they look at me when i can't quite figure out what they are thinking.  i think someone has to have some kind of cuteness or fantastic eyes but it is charisma beyond looks that gets me.
