But I consider myself very lucky that Ive never needed stitches, broken a bone, or had anything extreme happen.

Ok this reminds me of another jewlery makeing accident I had... OK I have rather big breasts (42 DD) and I was closeing a peace of metal I was working on in the vise I was leaning over to get leverage to turn it closed and my breast was in the way and iw ound up pinching my breast in the vise causeing a blood blister.. i just bought one of those new less painful "epilady" devices; one of those electric things that rips the hair out by the roots so you don't have to shave for a while. i was using it for the first time, and giving myself a brazillian, and i failed to hold the skin taut. It literally sucked up my labia into this tiny slot and i had the thing hanging off of me for about ten minutes before i finally figured out how to take it apart. The worst part was that my labia started to swell, making it tighter and increasingly painful. i was very close to calling to 800 number to ask for help.

As a child of 3 or 4 years, I was playing outside in my yard, and stepped on a bee that had already been crushed into the patio. While the body was mangled and dead, the stinger was still intact, and as I was bearfoot, I got my first bee sting from a bee that was already dead.

When I was 10 I spent the night with a friend who lived on the canals. We spent the whole afternoon in her boat and playing along the canal. Naturally, that night I dreamed pretty heavily about the same activities. Early the next morning as I lay asleep dreaming her mother came in to wake us up. Unfortunately, I got up before I fully stopped dreaming. Still sleeping I ran towards the sliding glass door that led out to the yard and canal. Of course, I could not tell that the door was closed and ran into it at a pretty good clip and sent myself flying backwards. As I was falling backwards I finally woke up...just in time to hit my head on the coffee table and knock myself out cold. It was a lovely way to start my day. LOL

Okay, doesn't compare with any of the others on here, but did reflexively try to catch some sewing scissors and found out the hard way how sharp they are. I still have a scar on my pinkey, but no trips to the ER to speak of. Other than that, I perenially jab myself with my pinwheel that always seems to have at least one spoke stiking out of my bag. Bloodthirsty little bugger.

yes, it culminated in an emergency room visit with me having teriffically bruised ribs and her near death because of an asthma attack from laughing. That's why I only do one show a day. Beetlejuice
