I dont know, I think your rant about pros is a little short sighted.  If you dont like teh Ladys that have found their place catering to all the little boys out there who are just too happy to go tossing their money around in order to feel submissive... then skip their profiles.
I dont need a riding crop to be a Domme, nor do most of the Dommes I know. You have obviously been burned, but that is not all OUR faults.
And a pissing contest that your Domme (I am guessing you were trying to make a cute play on words calling her  apro becsue she has mastered her craft as you say) is better than someone elses is not going to win you any points.  Every sub who is owned believes their own Master or Mistress is te best out there. Otherwse, they woudnt be together.
I am glad youve finaly found what your looking for, but dont go badmouthing other people for finding what they want. Prodommes wouldnt be around if there were a great market out there for them.

Stop pissing on peoples parades... thats Benji's job.

To understand human sexuality is to understand humanity.  A little humility would go along way round this parts.  If you have all the answers please, please, please, (see how I like to beg) end famine on this planet, bring peace to the world, and win the world for Christ.  You could then be the Wizard of Domme.

You caught me. I was trying to suck up to my Mistress. Everyone thinks their mate is the best.  The bottom line I guess I that (my opinion here)  most Dommes have lost touch with their feminine side.  I still like love and romance.  Flowers, candy all that mushy stuff.  A Dominatrix that has not lost the ability to blush.  That rocks my world, and that's who I've found.  Few and far between...believe me

Where the hell is Stef with the clue-by-4?

This one fell into the 'not worth the effort' category.

add - wow, my bad.. this got moved to random stupidity.. forget everything I just wrote.  It's actually quite appropriate here.

I think it's a prefect candidate for my proposed "Not So Random Stupidity" forum but TPTB keep shooting that suggestion down.

I feel like a man without a country sometimes. I have been an ordained minister since 1989. Well, la-de-da, big deal. My sentiments exactly. The reason I mention it is this. Step away from your computer screen for a minute and try to imagine the hurdles I needed to cross to get here… the demons I fought Hundreds of people on the site can relate I’m sure, every gay guy that boldly “came out” knows the courage this took. I’m not here lurking, I’m sure many preachers are out there as we speak. I jumped in with both feet and am trashing around in the discussion groups.. I out of place here it seems.
When I submit a editorial to my hometown newspaper that reads, “Conservative Christianity is the Breeding Ground for Hypocrisy.“ They… well let me just say I’m not invited to preach in these part very often. So I’m an outcast there as well.
I am writing my Masters Thesis, the Posit of which is this, “To Understand Human Sexuality, is to Understand Humanity.”
So yes, when I met my Mistress, the only woman I ever met who seems to “get” me, excuse me if I want to shout my love for her from the rooftops.

Excellent advice.  Please take it.

Regarding the rest...if you have what you want - why are you worrying about what anyone else is doing?

Seriously.  You come across as being a "One Twue Way-er" in that the way YOU see bdsm relationships is the ONLY way.  Thank goodness they are not one size fits all.

What a brave fellow you are, asilownsmyheart, to dissent  from the path of liturgical convention, and pursue a "love affair" with such an "empathetic" ProDomme.  I can understand how subsidizing a Dominatrix's car payments can be a pure and untainted expression of human love and devotion.

Just like the fellow that digs deep in his wallet to find a crisp, clean dollar bill to place in the G-string of that lucky stripper.......the one who does it to go to college - not to feed any ravenous coke habits..........you've found your niche in life.  I'll bet that your parents would be so proud of to you, just knowing that they'd raised a child with such solid and sound common sense.  The ministry will probably never know what a real jewel you are, until you give up the ghost, asilownsmyheart.

It's time to show those "hypocritical" corrupt assholes, who fall into a quagmire of sin by merit of their human weakness, that something is okay if your personal, off-kilter, and thoroughly flaky personal-interpretation says it is, despite numerous biblical passages proscribing prostitution in unequivocal terms.  The next step is to prattle on about your own bravery, and wax sentimental about the numerous hurdles you've had to conquer, in your attempt to reach even more advanced levels of flakiness.  Comparing your own internal struggles with those of gay men................well, you're just batting a thousand today, aren't you?

So, you title your thread "Get over yourself" post it, originally, in the "Ask a submissive/slave" forum, use it to denigrate and belittle others (guess the ministry isn't what it used to be), make blanket statements and ask inappropriate questions then backpeddle and proclaim that's how you choose to shout your love from the rooftops and yet, you don't think enough of her to take out the part of your profile which states you are STILL LOOKING for a Dominatrix.

Remove the stick from your own eye.. minister.

Celeste

Strangely enough, it's possible to proclaim your love for someone without insulting others at the same time.  It would appear you've still got several hurdles to jump yet.

Pro-dominants don't, generally, hang around in this forum. We come here for Shakespeare and you present the 3 Stooges.

Actually some of us do hang around this forum.  All the forums for that matter.  I enjoy reading some of the great posts out there as well as ones such as this.  This is one of those that are much like a train wreck.....you don't really want to look but you just can't help yourself.  LOL

Yeah..........I can totally see the similarity between the death of Jesus, and a man who waxes sentimental about a chick that spanks him for money.
