dear Reno, happy Thanksgiving ,to you ,and yours- OH ' Boy ; ....do i know a lot ,of gay females and men haters ;radicals;and feminist; separatist and militant women ;and female supremicists;who would disagree with that bi curious stuff but, as far as society ;it's the influence we allow, when we encourage male dominated society;don't you think females want to be majority and be worshiped as gods and on every dollar bill  ,as santa clause and as a world-priority sexually ,by all ,as much as men do in so,so society ,but," straight "is the rule ,low strata to even narrower circles but, hopefully not so much anymore;and ,"bi " is the sexual op. you can take or leave ;while gay is, just as good ,as straight ,or whatever....but, i still must consider a lot of influential women who resent the thot of being bi ,or forced to like men ;no matter how you look at it;when all things are = equal ; psychology says:  "bi" = is the healthy outlook ;so ,that desert-island-fantasy, becomes a lot more flexible;while some ,rather die ,than switch, for a fact.

I, personally, think that all women are naturally at least bi-curious.

To the exact same degree that men are.  I mean, just look at ancient Greece and Rome!  Clearly all men are naturally inclined to hump whatever rump is presented to them.

Or...uh...maybe not.

Well, I'd just like to say...even if that's not true...I'm gonna continue believing it is.

We'll one of the reasons for a misconception like that is that there is a fairly large number of submissives who really just want attention, and D/s is the best way for them to get it. And usually, when this is the case, they're most probably bi-sexual as well. The other factor, women tend to be a lot less hesitant of trying same sex relations than men do due to archetypes, stereotypes and basically the views of a lot of people today. A submissive woman, will most likely have experimented and a fair amount are at least somewhat attracted to women.

Add these factors together and you have a very high rate of bi-sexuality among submissive women. For those of you who are straight, well you'll have to deal with some of the idiot Doms out there who can't understand that. Sorry.

All?   The idea makes me want to puke green chunks.  I barely like them as people.  Trust me when I say not all women are bi inclined

This guy has done some interesting research on sexuality in men and women.
You can read more about it on his research page:  http://www.psych.northwestern.edu/psych/people/faculty/bailey/research.html

Read what he says about sexual arousal in women.  It's pretty neat.

pardon my french, but bullcrap.

1, i was never one to follow the crowd or feel as if i had to go along with any socially accepted "norms" of thinking and behavior. if i ever had any bisexual or even homosexual inclination, i would have been shouting it from the rooftops. and 2, i do feel that american society in general is quite accepting (to the point of overkill) of bisexuality in women, and has been for most of my formative years.

i have always found the mere thought of touching another woman in a sexual way, or of being touched by a woman in that way, revolting. soft skin, breasts, a hole where there should be a stick...these things are all the opposite of what i have always naturally found to be sexually desireable in a partner.

why can't some simply accept that every female is not bisexual, or bicurious, or has any desire to touch another female?? why is heterosexuality considered almost unnatural nowadays?? i mean really, wth??

Lots of people out there who can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Oddly enough, it is those same people who are always alone and unhappy.

I only look at other women when comparing them to myself. If another woman started touching on me, I'd end up in jail as self defense is illegal in my state

Same here. I did have the situation of a bi "putting ther moves" on me. My initial reaction was a "who the hell do you think you are". But I was nice.. she was standing behind me, stroking my hair (I was just showing her something on the computer-non sexual) when she breathlessly asked.. "do you like this?"..

I said "Ohhhh yessssss.. when A GUY DOES IT!!!!!!" She pulled back very quickly. I dunno.. I just felt very insulted. I just wanted to smack her. How presumptuous.

The best rule of thumb is.. do NOT think that EVERYONE has bi tendencies.

In a recent thread, it was touched upon briefly by a couple of the posters that they had, at one time or another, heard from a dom that all women are naturally bi-sexual.  I, too, have been directly subjected to this proclamation by a dominant or two in the past, and it has been my general impression that a very large number of dominants expect their submissives to be bi-sexual.

It made me curious to see just how prevalent this particular belief is among doms that all women, whether they know and acknowledge it yet, are naturally bi-sexual... and perhaps find out what reason there is for holding this belief.

Actually, there have been a study or two lately that suggest this might have some basis in reality; that the sexuality of women as a group is more "fluid" than it is for men, and that a healthy portion of women are, at least potentially, sexually receptive to other women.  Any time you say "all" it's a lie.  Commonly, though, might not be a stretch in this instance.

The dom who made this statement to you is probably just making a common error; that is extrapolating his anecdotal experience into some fact that's universally true, or stating something is true just because he thinks it is, or because he heard it form a guy who heard it from a guy.  Just point that hole in his thinking out to him and move on.

Blame it on "Girls Gone Wild" and the new fashion trend of girls kissing girls for a shock reaction.

I'm personally not bi at all, have zero interest in other women whatsoever and no rarely if ever look at other women for any reason. Others will say to me "did you see that girl? Look how pretty/ugly/skinny/etc.." she is. I usually am the one having to look around because I didn't even notice her there in the first place.

I usually equate these type of men to Trekkies. They're stuck in a fantasy and can't get out of it.

It seems to me like people like to say that what they are into everybody is into.

All women are bisexual

All Doms require males to be involved at one point or another with another guy.

All Doms are into financial domination.

People tend to say what they're into everybody is.

Why they do that?

Who knows.

I happen to be bisexual. I knew I was bisexual before I lost my virginity. Same is true with my husband.

What I always tell subs is that it would be "Oh, and the lovely chocolate cake comes with whipped cream, too!" if he happens to be bi. However, I'm not going to turn down good chocolate cake because it's not got whipped cream, and I'm not going to turn down a good slave just because xe's straight. I prefer, however, to get this worked out up front.

No not every girl is by , the science of the matter state the determination is found in pre adulesense and the factors for this cannot even be calculated, but this goes for guys to"we all know one of the biggest factors for them" me and my wife are both bi and no pressure should ever be applied. Ill say it again the harder she gets off the harder I get off its all about pleasure if u actually care and she's not havin a good time u won't either. No matter what the pleasure consists of.

LOL I love it... There is absalutly no factual reaserch or psycology that supports this or to my knoladge has ever been done on this.. LOL I wonder on whos atharity they are baseing their claims... Maybe they opporate under the theary I want there for it is... They are just trying to get what they want from you even though you dont want it by telling you you have to want it because all females do!!

sad thing is some girls buy it!!

Magik's slave

Well, no, actually there is:

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/06/030613075252.htm

http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2008-01-15-bisexual-women_N.htm

The picture that's emerging is that, unlike men, whose orientation tends to be more "fixed", the sexuality of women is a bit more "open".  There are other studies that show the number of women reporting same sex encounters is rising fairly sharply (and much faster than the increase being reported by men) in the last few years, as its becoming less socially "taboo".

Funny thing is that some of this science is pissing off the lesbian community as much as it is the hetero community, as the "conventional wisdom" among among many lesbians has long been that bisexuality is a "phase" and just means that a woman is confused or in denial about being a lesbian.

Don't get me wrong, anyone who says that "All" women are bisexual is dead wrong.  The picture that's emerging would suggest, though, that you'd probably be on pretty solid ground if you said that they are "more likely to be" or "more open to it" than men.
