Dear givemyall,
All guardians begin as junior guardians, and are primarily in place to assist those who are in trouble.
As I mentioned above, in an earlier comment reply, unless you have helped someone, perhaps on the verge of contemplating suicide, you would not understand how desperate the need for such a group. There are other groups that exist, btw, you just do not know about it.
The protocol and the confidentiality issues of the group are decided upon by the members and the Guardians themselves.
There are several attorneys within the group, as well as law enforcement, etc. so these are tough issues, yes, but safe call actions are individual and specific to each subject, depending on the circumstances, and follow the established protocol.
If my marketing techniques seem crude, it is only because I do not wish to attract a surge of members, This is not my goal. We seek to attract members who will participate and add to the organization.
I thank you for asking these questions, as they are good ones. These are issues that have been the topic of many a long discussion.
