Umm,

Is it a foursome that we had to wait several days for Lance to post due to some confusion and a disappearance?

LOL!  Nope.  Good guess, but that would be about the quartet itself, and not the names.

Top of page repeat.  Including what must be one of the ugliest dogs I've ever seen.  Said dog appears in quite a few poses on: http://ihasahotdog.com/

Thanks, MM

Scopas
Bryaxis
Timotheus
Leochares

This is a unique quartet!  In other words, you might think there are other names that could be added to the list, but the particular commonality that I have in hand is four and only these four.  Google WILL solve this instantly by the way, so try to do some research without typing in all four names at once. LOL!

Minn.Otter's "guess" makes me wonder if y'all need directions.  I'm sure not, but just in case: What I mean about "do some research" is look up each name separately and see if the commonality is obvious.

More specifically, they worked on the Mausoleum at Halicarnassu. Each artist was attributed to working on each side.

Yep!  I was looking for the fact that each worked on one side, making the quartet unique.

The vertical walls of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (The Tomb of Mausolus) below the stepped, pyramidal top was called the Pteron. The Pteron was adorned with sculptures in relief, on its eastern face by Scopas, on the northern by Bryaxis, on the southern by Timotheus, on the western by Leochares.

You go, girl!  Er.... you go, bear!

Eastern Provinces of Canada?  WAY too easy, so that can't be right.... I guess I guessed that for a hint, I guess.

Edited to guess: Canadian Provinces for which French is an official language?

Nice guess Lance though hate to say that isn't what links this quartet!  *grinz*
It has nothing to do with official languages. Hmmm maybe I finally found a quartet that hasn't been correctly guessed right off the bat!!!!

Those four provinces make or made up the Confederation of Canada?

They were the 4 original provinces?  That joined July 1, 1867?
