I think the answer's really been given already - if he is going to keep escaping like this, then why bother in the first place? Unless thats part of the game, it seems a bit, well...... daft of him.

But personally, I would skip the ropes etc. Go for something more robust. Leather cuffs with leather thongs/chains as ties. Leather thongs, (once they're broken in) are so flexible that a knot made with them is virtually unbeatable, and chains are well, chains. All thats important then, is what one attaches them to.

I saw some waxed rope once, which looked good if you really are hung up (no pun intended) on rope. Again, knots become impossible to undo.

But I wouldnt do the whole spread eagle thing either, with someone like this. If he really wants inescapable, then I'd get hold of one of those thingies from the OWK; a hinged metal contraption that closes around the neck, wrists and ankles and locks to hold him in a seated but oh so uncomfortable pose thats impossible to escape. But then I'm nasty.

There's also the whole kneeling thing, with ankles tied to opposite wrists and genitals with those plastic zip things (like cable ties the police/army use).

And for the spread eagle, if thats really important, what about a few candles set on chest, stomach and genital area, so that any struggling becomes a painful affair in itself? I'm sure something could be organised with a few electric circuits in that regard too, such that one hand picking the knot on the other wrist, closes a circuit and results in a shock. But then, I am a very nasty person.

How did people ever do this without the internet?

I mean seriously, the more I read...the more and more I feel inadequate.  Oh, and it's not just me, it's the one who Masters me as well, I'm not alone in my boring-ness...that's better than wallowing in it by myself right? *bats lashes*

In any event, without reading much of this, I really doubt either myself or himself would've ever concocted a large chunk of what I'm seeing...and I haven't even read everything there is to read.

This can't be good for my OCD [:o] lol

You people are brilliantly devious, I aspire to that, sooner than later with any luck [:D]

What would you recommend?  Eyebolts driven into the floor or a stud in the wall?  Metal loops welded to a metal bedframe?

Waxed rope?  Can you point me to an example of this stuff?  I always thought wax would tend to make rope more slippery, rather than less.  Shibari-style hemp rope is popular on the west coast, not only because it feels different but because it does not slip or flex as easily as nylon--many subs find it significantly more difficult to untie, and it seems to be pretty commonly used by suspension bondage experts like Jim Duvall.

How difficult are those to obtain?  I imagine you simply use your EMT scissors to remove them when playtime is over?

Brilliant!  I had completely forgotten the possible "warning" methods--a stack of plates or glasses on the chest which will tip and crash the minute he moves, etc..

How would you arrange such a thing, and what would you use?  Have you ever tried one of those "electrical jolt" dog collars?  I always wondered if they would work on a person, and how badly they would hurt.

Eyebolts in the floor, handcuffs, chains and locks would work better then rope.

2) If you would prefer not to read Benji's apposite comments and occasionally witty and occasionally caustic posts, then you do not have to. You could skip over them, and any reference to them, or you could even block them. For most of us though, he rarely barks up the wrong tree, (canine reference there, did you notice?), and is highly amusing in a way which keeps the boards relieved of melodrama and the various forms of bovine excrement oft deposited here.

But doesn't this go both ways LadyEllen?

i scan the boards for topics of interest.  If i find one posted by someone i just don't like, or think is a drama queen, or a nut case...or whatever...i simply pass the thread by.  Or sometimes i might read the OP and if it holds no interest to me or sounds stupid to me, i continue on to another thread.  Right....people can skip over them...or block that particular poster...or whatever.  But really, why just join a thread to bash the OP?  If you don't like the person, move along, right?

i know, i know,  it's the net...people do this...we all have freedom of speech...yada yada yada.  But i get tired of seeing otherwise good threads go to shit just because someone has a personal vendetta against the OP.  And i am not talking just about benji here....but anyone who does that.

And i'm just saying that as it goes that if someone doesn't like another's posts they can pass them by, well then....pass by a thread if you don't like the OP...or the content...or whatever.  Easy enough, no?  [8|]

I'm also curious about the electric dog collars. Is it a mild shock or would it knock someone to the ground like a tazer?

Bad idea. I have a 125 lb dog who has permanent brain damage from the use of a shock collar by his former owners.

Shock collars don't enough power to knock him to the floor like a tazer does.

BossySSBBW -> RE: help......my sub thinks he's Houdini (12/3/2006 8:43:37 AM)

Saw some guy on funniest videos show who thought he would try out one of the collars before putting it in his dog.  When they hit the highest number and he spoke, he went down.....lol.   He decided he would not use it in his dog.

LadyEllen -> RE: help......my sub thinks he's Houdini (12/3/2006 8:43:44 AM)

Hi Morrigel

I'll emphasise I'm not a structural engineer here first! The securing points need to be, well secure. Stud walls are not very suitable for this, as even with screws and the special rawlplugs made for stud walls, they are not as good as bricks and mortar. I should think a few good sized screws - say two/three inches, into a brick wall with a rawlplug in place would secure an eyebolt well enough. There are also (in the UK at least) special wall mountings for securing guns with when one doesnt have a gun cabinet - they have special screws with them, that need a special screwdriver to remove. Floor mountings again, rely on the strength of the floor - as do ceiling mountings; you would have to go for a joist in either case, rather than a floorboard or the ceiling boards (whatever they're called). I suspect a metal bedframe would do just as well too though.

The waxed rope!? Now, if I knew where I could get some I'd have it! The stuff I saw was what my dad brought home from work, and it was a bit difficult to ask him about it much! Its weird stuff though - its sort of slippery, but the wax (I assumed it was wax from the feel of it), meant that one could bend it into any position, whilst the rope itself was still flexible enough to be rope for knots etc; and when a knot was tied in it, the wax meant that the rope really stuck in the knot, making it impossible to remove.

Zip cords are available from home supplies stores over here - I guess Home Depot over there would have them, under "cable ties". They only work one-way, and yes, scissors are needed to remove them!

The electric thing - now, though I scraped by some miracle a B at physics in school, I'm no expert! But as a guess, I would say that if one connected the two wrists with a wire hooked to, say a car battery, then when the two wrists came together then the circuit would be completed, electric would flow and !!!!!!.

The electric dog collars - never used one, never seen one except on the net. There were a few videos of "Jackass" type scenarios on DiannaVesta's latest thread however, by which I'd say they were very effective!

Absolutely it goes both ways DG; but you have to also understand that some have a lower tolerance factor than others, when it comes to making smartass, opportunistic posts, and accept that occasionally one will come under fire from almost any member of CM for something one writes, even me. The only problem I see in it, is when its of the bullying variety, directed at someone who is known to be vulnerable (yes it happens) - otherwise, I just take it for what it is and move on.

Lordandmaster -> RE: help......my sub thinks he's Houdini (12/3/2006 12:10:09 PM)

This may come as a surprise to you, but the site went along just fine before you got here and started pontificating about how the forum discussions can be improved and who's a constructive and who's an unconstructive user.  An ordinary person might find out a little bit about who the users of a new site are before offering repeated criticisms of them.  But you know better.  That kind of arrogance has a way of eliciting negative reactions--wouldn't you say?

Also: you've said several times that you think I have some kind of vendetta against you.  Don't flatter yourself.  I'd respond to anyone who made the kind of comments you've made, whether male or female.  You're obviously smart, well educated, and you have a stunning inability to get along with people who disagree with you.  Your vocabulary gets ugly pretty fast.

As far as I'm concerned, you crossed the line when you started telling the mods how to do their job.  I don't think you have the foggiest idea of what the mods do, but I'll tell you what they DON'T do: they don't censor posts that happen to irritate Morrigel.  I think you need a little self-perspective.  If you don't like what benji has to say, or what I have to say--or any other male who happens to disagree with you, for that matter--either state your viewpoint with civility and self-restraint, or ignore the post and  move on.  Don't ask the mods to shut people up.

Or you can go find some other board where people's behavior is more to your liking.

I see.  So page after page of annoying, meaningless off-topic BS that has nothing to do with the thread topic, is completely personal and petty sniping, and is related to something that was posted months or years ago...is considered "entertaining"?

Re: benji

Just to add to this little rant (sorry Lady Ellen... programme is experiencing kinky difficulties and will return shortly). benji, being a pooch, is automatically a Master-bater as I have yet to see any male dog NOT reach and lick his own peanuts to his hearts content. No human can do this. So, in these forms, benji is master. Being Canadian means he's better at weathering storms and other incliment weather [:D].

Long live the beaver.

Mikal -> RE: help......my sub thinks he's Houdini (12/3/2006 1:01:15 PM)

To the OP, have you considered using barbed cuffs? They're leather restraints with sharp little points on the inside, so if/when the sub struggles, they prickle rather badly. (See http://www.stormyleather.com/product.asp?0=291&1=313&3=1272 )

The other idea that comes to mind is get a lot of candles, melt the wax in a large bowl (ie mixing bowl) and repeatedly dip your subs hands in it until they are completely encased in wax and the wax is thick enough not to break with straint. You could then duct tape all around the wax, ensuring that even if he does manage to crack it, it still won't come off. I'd also emply some genital torture... tie his lil' member to the footspreader bar or whatever his feet are tied to, and leave next to no slack (so if he tries to move up, he causes himself severe pain). Insert a large, very long & uncomfortable dildo as far as possible in his derrier so that if he tried to move down... well, you get the idea. Next, attach nipple clamps (heavy duty ones, again with very little slack), so that if he tries to move left/right, they pull. If you want to be sadistic about it, you could coat the dildo in some sort of oil (peppermint, halapeno), but be prepared for him to be slave to the toilet the next day. Also, wieghts can be added to pull his member & dumb brothers down [:)].

The whole scene isn't expensive, and provides much amusement. [:D]

gooddogbenji -> RE: help......my sub thinks he's Houdini (12/3/2006 3:04:31 PM)

First off, I was just at work, and got shit on by the boss' boss' boss' boss.  That was my first laugh of the day (Not in front of him, too much.)

Then I come home and read this thread.  Oh man, it was worth being gone a day.

To be honest, I find it hilarious that some of you thought I was taking any of this seriously, and I was wuite flattered at some of the comments about me.  I was not aware that I could lick my own scrote-sac.

Now, to stop hijacking the thread, there are several tricks to keepiung a sub restrained:
- Never get jalepenos, spicy sausage, or so on it, or it gets too feisty.
- Leave it wrapped in the paper it came in.  That way, it stays disoriented.
- Quickly get it home and tape it shut.
- Leave it in the fridge overnight.  That'll learn it.

Now, hoagies are a different breed entirely, but I don't want to hijack.

Yours,

benji
