Me, too...  it's the best.  And one year I received a present from Santa and the Stork...  my female UM...  a lovely present, esp when the nurses brought her to me in a giant Christmas stocking.  (thought I was hallucinating from the pain meds!)

Its not a religious thing for me.
I dislike the season, the feeling in the air, the decorations, and the SONGS! 
But I have a child, so the tree goes up, the smile goes on and the presents get purchased. lol. 
It was fun when my girl was a toddler and she would wake up and think there really was a santa who dropped gifts off at every house.  But then she got older and started wanting things that cost hundreds of dollars. lmaoo.
I do however love christmas eve.  I'm quite close with my family and we see each other often throughout the year, but there is something about christmas eve in an italian family thats purely special.  We all get drunk and cook together and laugh our asses off.

Status: offline 		I love everything about Christmas...the cold, the short days and long nights, the songs, the twinkling, colorful lights all over town, the warm fuzzy feeling when you come home and the house smells like a christmas tree and cinnamon candles. Christmas eve with family eating all sorts of sweets and playing poker. Christmas day seeing the unmentionables' faces light up when they see the pile of presents under the tree. Wrapping paper flying through the living room and giggles of joy as they see their new toys.  What's to dislike. Christmas is the best!

Status: offline 		I work retail... so aside from the OT I hate Christmas. I see so little of the happy parts and just the frenzied need to buy things, the short tempers and the complete lack of respect. People are nasty, we hav been decorated since well before Thanksgiving and it wears on us well before we get to the actual holiday.
