Some of the games that ought to be exciting:

Houston vs South Carolina: two wide open offenses, Heisman canidate Kolb, and the Ol' Ball Coach should make for a hell of game.

Boston College vs Navy: a solid BC team against the nation's best rushing attack.

Arkansas vs Wisconsin: power vs power.

Wake Forest vs Louisville: I've seen Wake play 3 times this year, and they do not quit; won't be enough against the high-powered Cardinals' offense, but I'm hoping....

Thank goodness you picked Penn State.  I guess this means I don't have to hate you.  hehe

It's not even a good year for the PRO team.

Ok don't rub it in. I feel enough pain as it is. [;)]

[;)] I love Joe Pa, and have always liked Penn St. They've turned out some incredible athletes, and when they beat Florida St last year, I was whooping it up.

And no hatin' allowed. [8D]

KatyLied -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/5/2006 3:40:18 PM)

Yes, Penn State is special.  I'm wondering where my favorite Penn Stater - Paul Posluszny will end up.

Level -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/5/2006 3:53:22 PM)

I'm guessing he'll go anywhere from the late 1st round to midway into the 2nd. He's tough, smart, and has decent speed, but is not the large kind of LB that the teams using 3-4 defenses usually look for. He'd fit well on a team like Indy, or Chicago.

KatyLied -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/5/2006 3:54:06 PM)

I would like to see him in Chicago, if I had to pick a team for him.

Lordandmaster -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/5/2006 10:13:29 PM)

For what it's worth, Michigan, not Florida, is the computers' consensus pick for No. 2:

Some computers have Florida as low as 4th or 5th.

Yikes, I really think Tennessee is the stronger team.  In fact, I don't think it's close.

I lived near Gainesville, FL for most of the past three years and worked through nearly all of this football season. For no reason other than blind, local loyalty I say

Go Gators!

We'll know soon enough.

Ya gotta love the lewd headlines about the Wisconsin - Arkansas game such as this one:

Nutt names Dick starter, but Mustain will play

I dunno what a Mustain is, but it sounds kinky to me

I am a Penn State fan, but they don't stand a chance against Tennessee. Jo Pa 'was' good, but its time to go.

KatyLied -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/21/2006 6:52:00 AM)

Okay, people, please.  You don't know what may be riding on this for me.  If Penn State loses the game, I may be in for a world of hurt.  [;)]  Literally.

Lordandmaster -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/21/2006 8:40:48 AM)

Go Tennessee!

I was gonna root for Penn State till you told us all what's at stake.

Shh.  You are digging me an even deeper hole by saying that.

KatyLied -> RE: NCAA Bowl Schedule (12/21/2006 10:43:47 AM)

I've been asked to expand on the perved football.
Penn State can win and I will still receive torment.
There are "punishments" (remember, I'm not a pain slut) or "service" (my preference)  for various situations.....first downs, scores, turnovers, penalties, etc (it can be as wide as your imagination, lots of things go on in a football game).  And these can be applied to either team.
