Is it just me, or have most of these games really sucked? I survived the New Orleans trip. I wasn't that upset ... Rice is a small campus and everyone pretty much knew that Chase Clement wasn't going to play. We aren't the same team without him. Troy has the worst fans I've encountered. I thought Longhorn fans were sort of bad, and last season I went to the Texas/Ohio State game in Columbus, and was shocked that people could be such complete dickheads at a sporting event ... but Troy fans win both the bowl game and the shit-4-brains award, hands down. My strategy of picking the team with the home field advantage isn't working very well. Then again, who can predict games with such huge turnover/penalty margins. The big guy here, that played at Texas, says that what fans never know, is how seriously a team takes the bowl game. Speaking from personal information, I took a final on Tuesday afternoon and had about ten varsity football players in the classroom. Based on my interaction with the Troy student body, my guess is that if you can make change at a fast food window, that's your final (not that I'm bitter about the game or anything ... [;)][;)][;)]). Then again, what do you say about a institute of learning, with a sports team with the motto, "We Ready!"
