Petruchio -> RE: removal of frontal lobe (12/7/2006 2:13:16 PM)

Perhaps my good grammar and spelling has led some not to take this post seriously. It's meant to be a companion piece to the thread on clitoridectomy.

Actually, I have loved reading all your comments including BitaTruble's complex analsys. And the Popiel Pocket Cliterectomizer– Wow. I think I have one of those in my kitchen drawer.

I love the brilliant responses!

I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Paris Hilton seems to have had a successful lobotomy.

Surely you can suggest your own celebrity lobotomy?

LordODiscipline -> RE: removal of frontal lobe (12/7/2006 7:35:38 PM)

I cannot swear to it - but....

The following were recently seen buying Ronco products at the local Walmart:

Mel Gibson
Kramer
Oprah
Pat Robertson
Jim McGreevey
Bernard Kerik
Bernard Evers

And, buying at the local K-Mart was Martha Stewart

Petruchio....this was an awesome thread!

Popiel Pocket Cliterectomizer???

Not sure what that is but it sounds kinda....well....HOT!!! Maybe a more detailed explanation is in order......

dcnovice -> RE: removal of frontal lobe (12/8/2006 12:42:39 AM)

No need for surgery. You can save hassle and cash by just plonking her down in front of Fox News for a few hours.

Hey! Fox news is "Fair and Balanced!" I know, 'cause they keep telling me so. *snort*

They lost me when the Pope was dying and the headline they came up with to plaster on the bottom of the screen was "No hope for the Pope". It only got worse when they prematurely reported he was dead, realized their mistake and changed the headline to "Pope not dead yet".

Hey....maybe their news people have had lobotomies...that would it explain alot right?

Petruchio -> RE: removal of frontal lobe (12/8/2006 8:16:29 AM)

(laughing) Using Fox News to lobotomize... Brilliant!

Sean Hannity has the same effect, but it's like using a hatchet to do the job.

mistoferin, Popiel Pocket Cliterectomizer was LordOfDiscipline's invention.

Okay, mistoferin, I'll oblige. Lay back, relax...

(unintelligible sounds from mistoferin)

Of course, we have to probe, test, and experiment first.

Hmmmmm.....have you been listening at my bedroom door?

Anyway, the thought of LoD's device reminded me of something....anyone remember the "Orgasmatron" from the movies "Sleeper" and "Barbarella"?

On the down side, I'm concerned about the scarring of her frontal love affecting her looks. Does the scar tissue readily heal? Will her hair grow back over it? I recognize that unlike clit removal, this might be noticeable to her nosy parents and vanilla authorities.

I will take a crack at this.  The frontal lobotomy given to psychiatric patients to make them more pliable is done using an ice pick like tool inserted up the patient's nose and tapped into place with a surgical hammer.  The tool is then moved from side to side inside the brain cavity.

The scar given to Jack Nicholson in the movie "One Flew Over The Cuckoos nest" was odd, since I am not sure how useful removing that particular section of the brain would be.  But that is just me...

And I could be wrong.

Orgasmatron... Hmm. I'll order one today!

LadyEllen -> RE: removal of frontal lobe (12/9/2006 3:07:52 AM)

Question - is Ronco still going?

We used to get the lamest TV ads over here, complete with awful Brit voice over, for the lamest products ever - but no more.

Along with another lame product distribution company (K Tel), Ronco still is a running joke over here amongst those of us who remember.

Buying guideline - if its advertised on TV but impossible to find in the shops, its probably crap.

I had to check, but yes!

http://www.ronco.com/

The same guy, Ron Popiel, also had a product line under his last name, which LoD touched upon.

That's so often true, but Ronco managed to survive buy producing some solid products. An old girlfriend purchased his rotisserie, the larger one, and loves it. Eons ago, I bought the buttoneer which was great for all kinds of guy-type repairs.

I've heard of K-Tel, but I don't know anything about them.

As you say, many of these promoters are often running jokes, 'as seen on TV!'.

We have an "As seen on TV" store at our local mall. You can find some amazing stuff there.....although I have never seen that device LoD was referring to.....
